Today, February 4, a driver exiting CTC Academy was speeding on a local road, tailgated my vehicle, and honked repeatedly while I was stopped at red lights -- at two separate intersections. This kind of dangerous driving is completely unacceptable, especially from a school vehicle responsible for children's safety. My child's van was in an accident last week. Driver hit a parked car. Driver proceeded to lie to the on scene police officer by telling him no children were in the van at the time of the crash. PO did not see the children because they were several houses away sitting on someone's front porch. K&S did not call school or the families to alert of accident. The driver of the white mini van #59 was in a left turn only lane, decided to go straight and almost hit me- with students in the back! The woman driver then drove right over an active RR crossing- never stopped or even slowed down! Saw her take the lane for 287 North- I said a prayer for those inside the van she was driving- totally unacceptable! read more

Picking up child at my home, drove on my lawn and knocked over my garbage can that was waiting to be picked up by the city. Made a mess and now I have tire tracks sunken into my lawn, driver could have cared less. read more

A K & S transportation bus that was behind me on a two lane road sped up to pass me in the intersection and cut me off as we merged down to one lane. I think they were annoyed that I had been behind them initially and passed them. They were behind a slower car that turned and then suddenly were cutting me off. I was forced to the shoulder, hitting a snow embankment to avoid hitting the bus. I know it was after hours and there were no students on the bus, but I can't imagine the driver driving any better when students are present. I'm so glad my children were not in my car at the time, and that the snowbank was melting. It could have been much worse. read more

I LOVE K&S Transportation! I have an autistic/epileptic son who travels from Scotch Plains to Chatham Mon thru Fri on one of their buses with a nurse (from another agency).. Whenever I needed to call for ANY reason, Ali has consistently been available.. whether it be at night, the weekend, or very early in the morning, he's been there to answer & help with every question I had.. he's always polite, helpful, and available to help with my concerns.. I can call or text and he responds immediately.. these days it's rare to find someone who is willing to be so helpful.. I appreciate this man more than he'll ever know!!! K & S is driving my 11 year old daughter to her extended school year program over the summer. My daughter has some health issues, so she has missed some school. Since K & S never provided me with a number for the driver or for the dispatcher, it has been impossible to coordinate with them to tell them the days my daughter was ill and staying home. This morning the driver just left my daughter behind. Every other driver my daughter has had has introduced themselves to me and given me contact information for exactly these situations. It has been a very frustrating summer. read more
