We have so very many issues with the home Short Services built for us. They charged us twice what…read morethey should have and delivered less that standard service. The inspector that came in had nothing good to say about the build and was shocked at the work done on this cabin. There were gaps in the wans, the stairs don't measure the same from step to step ( it's like walking up the stairs when your drunk). Support posts fell down when pushed on, the house itself is sitting on helical coils and flat plates that aren't even set in straight lines so in some places the house is barely sitting on the plate. There is nothing to keep the house on those plates if we have a couple good earthquakes. There is so much wrong with this place I can't even list them all. This is all just structural stuff, cause we only had him build the structure. My kids are finishing everything else. He charged us for just the structure, nothing finished, what it cost me for the second house finished. When asked if he would come fix the items on the list he told my husband that he is not going to fix anything and will not do the second cabin we wanted, that he set the coils for. We had to have some one else come put in new coils because the one he did were unusable. I hope no one ever uses this company again, they are unsafe and unethical. Plus he uses his 12 yr to help build his shacks.
