Monthly rates are reasonable. Kids really do learn to defend themselves and respect others. While there are katas (forms), drills and sparring, it's not crazy and no one gets hurt. Check it out.

We came to this new dojo because our old dojo was just too far to travel. When my boys decided…read morethey didnt want to do karate anymore I gave my notice. As you can imagine juggling schedules is a hard task and they aren't couch potatoes- they do other sports. When I gave my notice I was very disappointed in the response from the management. While I can imagine its upsetting to sign up new kids and lose them, the level of conversation we had was unreal. He basically wanted me to force them to come "I'm the parent". Quite honestly I'm not going to pay for a service that my boys don't want to do and kids are way too over scheduled these days. I was very honest about that. His response to me was that "You knew they were doing these other activities when you signed them up" and "had he known I would just quit like this he never would have accepted me into the program." Im of the mindset that kids should finish what they started but I certainly wasn't going to bring my kids there to finish out the month even though we had to pay for it. Had to give thirty days notice - So we are stuck paying for a service for the following month we won't use - which we agreed to but it would have been nice if they only charged for one child instead of two. Especially since they are getting paid and not giving a service at all. Very disappointed.

He truly seeks to help each student meet their individual goals. Whether it's becoming a certified black belt in Taekwondo, physical and social activities for individuals with special needs, or anything in between, Achieve MA is a school like none other. I strongly recommend Achieve Martial Arts for all ages and ability levels.

Frank is a con artist. I had my children going to his karate from Nov 2023 - August 2024 and from…read morethat timeframe he stole over $3,000 from my account. He was triple charging me each month, one month he charged me 6 times! By the time I found out, I asked him to refund it immediately and he refused. All he offered was he would put it towards future karate lessons which I had already informed him that my kids were unable to go to nor would I ever let this man teach my kids again. Unfortunately when I disputed it with my bank they could only refund me back the charges within the last 90 days. I asked Frank many times to do the right thing and he refused. I later found out that I'm not the only family he did this to and his studio shut down a month later so the money being put towards future karate lessons were a joke and he clearly was in financial trouble which caused him to steal money from his clients. I will be seeing him in small claims court but encourage any family that used this karate studio to check their bank statements to ensure he didn't do the same thing to them.
