The staff is very friendly and eager to help finding plants, tomato plants, etc. I am impressed with the smiles , I had a man as a cashier I love seeing that ; He was happy. This place may sound like it is a little off the beaten path, but it is really not that far from Battle Creek, Michigan. They have a great selection and variety of plants, and I found their prices very competitive, and in a lot of items tremendously cheaper than some of the other greenhouses right in Battle Creek. I bought my vegetable plants for my garden this year from them and they gave me such a great deal that I have decided that they are my top greenhouse to go to for plants in the future. The spaciousness of the suburbs is on full display at K-Drive! I bought the flowers for my first adult balcony box here and loved them. They have TONS and tons of flowers, plants, veggies, and more...great variety and selections of flowers and colors. High quality flowers and plants and competitive prices. The best are their little double decker wagons though! Poppy red Radio Flyer-esque wagons are converted to a double level wagon so you can drag all you goodies behind you while you search for what you need. My wife and I are eager to get back to K Drive now that they're open for the season again! She loves the flowers there and the attention they get in our yard all season long. People always comment on how vibrant and healthy they look. I have been stocking my vegetable garden from there the last couple of years. I am consistently pleased with the yields, especially the grape tomatoes and the cukes. It is always easy to find someone to help you. The greenhouse is well-staffed, but nobody is pushy. read more

I have been going to K Drive for many years now.. It gets better every year! I love the hanging baskets and the organization of the annuals and accents used in creating your own pot designs. They even have a potting bench where they supply the soil. They have a great selection of perennials and they are in the best condition of any other plant retail store in the area. read more

Last year, I discovered this place after moving to the area. I purchased bushes and flowers for my condo from a very helpful employee and they are doing well. So my review would have been 4 or 5 stars. This year I went out for the second time to buy vegetables and flowers for a garden we are setting up for my grandchildren. I noticed veggies were on sale and asked an employee if herbs were also on sale as they are classified by the USDA and Wikipedia as vegetables. She said she would get the owner. He walked over and said "That is why they are called herbs and not vegetables" and then turned abruptly and walked away .If I had an Iphone, I would have shown him. He could have said "Herbs are not included, I will change the sign." Maybe he was having a bad day. I am having a bad year, being recently widowed. It really changed my view with this encounter. The ladies were very helpful after that as they had overheard this conversation. I would have left but it is a long ride out and I had Smart Dollars to use up. read more
