He…read morethen went on to do absolutely nothing with all the information that I gave him to prove my case And basically sat there silent in court while my husband and his attorney dragged me. He did not answer calls text or emails. He called me less than 24 hours before one of our court dates saying I need to bring my mother to court with me it was vital to my case while I was sitting in an airport waiting for a flight back to New York. At my last court date he made a scene in the waiting area and got loud with my mother which resulted in my ex-husband and my mothers attorney instructing them to walk away from him. Again he refused to answer calls text and emails and any question that I asked him in person he said I don't have an answer for that. I missed a court date because he didn't tell me about it and now my mother has guardianship of my daughter. I filed a complaint with the Rockland county bar association and his response to my complaint was that the case wasn't going in my direction and used text messages I provided him showing parental alienation against me because I cursed and said it was because of my language and he suggested a new attorney after not using any of the information I provided him. I honestly don't know how this man sleeps at night working against people he is hired for. I am not the only one who has had issues with him. I spoke to another attorney who told me that several people he has spoken to made complaints about him. He should be disbarred

About as nasty, hateful and abusive towards the public as a law firm could possibly be...and worse!…read more We simply called regarding an urgent matter to find out if attorney Frank Phillips could handle the precise tangent of law we needed help with, but his secretary refused to speak with us or even take the message unless we would provide the names of other attorneys we might have called or spoken with previously! When I explained that our prior calls and conversations were confidential and of no importance, and that we simply needed to first find out if Phillips could even assist with our situation, her response was, "Well, then he won't talk to you!" after which she hung up on us!! We never even had the chance to explain the problem for which help was needed! Although there are no standards for attorney courtesy, and not much more for integrity, the public deserves better than this abusive, hateful, demeaning treatment--especially by the office of an attorney who serves as a Stony Point town judge!

Since I've never had to call a lawyer before, I was a little nervous given the reputation that lawyers generally have. I'm happy to say that Tammy is truly a remarkable exception. She generously took time to answer all of my questions and refer me to legal aid which would help me with my case for free. Not only was Tammy extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of property law, but she is a truly caring person that was trying to comfort me because she could tell I was overwhelmed by the situation.
