Awful Awful Awful. Poor follow through. After staying up all night to remove my counter tops for the scheduled install, I get a phone call stating they need to reschedule. I Literally don't have a functioning kitchen because I have no countertops. To make matters worse, they are not willing to do ANYTHING to rectify this. ( I am unable to cancel my order or get my money back and they are not willing to give me anything for this significant inconvenience). I am so frustrated and unhappy about this. We ordered kitchen cabinets and they look amazing! HOWEVER, Robin (the sales person) dropped the ball several times with our order which lead to us going over budget. Despite having a healthy budget of 50k, mistakes were made that made us go over budget by nearly 5k. 1) the waterfall aspect was not include. This is something we discussed and went over a minimum of 10 times and it was not caught until the countertop were purchased. We in term had to pay close to 4K additional 2) The ordering of the crown moldings was sloppy and disorganized. We discussed that we wanted a floor to celling look, so we needed to completely fill our 9 1/2 foot space (from floor to ceiling). We made it so that the cabinets were a certain height, the molding was a certain width etc to complete the look we wanted. It wasn't until instillation that we found out that the incorrect molding was ordered and that we had to buy another one. This ran us approximately $600-800. 3) Prior to placing our order, we submitted a list of all appliances, which included make, model, depth, height, weight etc. Our range top stove was fitted and the drawers were not closing because of a receptacle in the back of it (which she was fully aware of), so we asked if they could come and fix the drawer by cutting a small hole in it to have it close... they ultimately wanted to charge $100 additional to finish THEIR job. 4) Our upper cabinets are see through and we wanted to put recessed lighting inside of them, so when we asked how much they would charge to make 6 small holes in the cabinet that would accommodate the recessed lighting, they wanted $100. The installer (Ishmael) did a wonderful job installing these cabinets, but this companies customer service lacks in so many ways. I would not recommend them after our experience. read more

I am so happy with my experience at Kabinet King! Troy, our designer, was wonderful throughout the whole process. He was very knowledgeable and it felt like he was one step ahead of me in terms of knowing what my vision was for my kitchen. When I came in to design my kitchen, he spent a long time making sure everything was perfect. There were so many style options to choose from. Luckily, I knew prior to making an appointment with him what I wanted, which made things a lot easier for the both of us, but he was very patient and helpful when I was stuck on making decisions about the minor details. Also, Stephanie at Kabinet King rocks! I had called many many times throughout the process with various questions, and when Troy happened to be in a meeting, etc., Stephanie would always help me. So thank you to her as well =). I had a few custom requests despite the limited space I had (square footage wise), but he was able to make everything work. The cabinets (and quartz countertops I ordered through them) came very quickly and he made sure to call me several times with any updates. He also checked in after the cabinets were delivered as well, and when the quartz countertops were delivered. The deliveries went smoothly also. Now that everything is installed, it looks absolutely gorgeous. I am so glad that I came here for my kitchen! The kitchen is usually the most important and most expensive part of a home, so I wanted to make sure to do my homework and do it right. Unfortunately I can't recommend this company for Cabinets based on my experience. They are the LOWEST advertised price for the Forevermark Cabinets I ordered. But be mindful the prices listed online if you order yourself thru kabinetkings website versus the price they quote you after "free" design is substantially higher. When I noticed it was higher than the online price they explained that once you start the process and the designer gets involved the price goes up. Didnt understand why the price woukd go up since design is supposed to be free. So after speaking to a supervisor they were able to honor the online pricing and adjusted my total. So be mindful of that (good idea to go to kabinet king website and put all your pieces in cart so you can verify if what your quoted is same price listed online). Another issue is the designers are very attentive when working on the free design when the pressure is put on getting a deposit. I was uncomfortable giving a deposit without having a detailed itemized list showing what I was purchasing. They claim you get an itemized receipt after but it's been a whole week and still no itemized list. The QUALITY of the cabinets is also an issue. The paint job is very sloppy. Water marks on back of the cabinets, with paint marks. The quality is not the best and trying to get a cabinet replaced has been a nightmare. They try and tell you it normal but it's clearly damaged cabinets. Setting up the counter appt is also an issue. I have been trying for a week to get the appt scheduled for counters and I'm still waiting. I also tried calling to see how fast I can get extra crown moulding because they didn't send the correct amount and my contractors are on a two week schedule so waiting long is not an option. I also paid extra for assembly and they assembled all the doors incorrectly and left out screws in areas, so now I have to have contractor fix doors. I would not recommend. The price was cheaper but the savings don't makeup for the lacking customer service. It's my first time ordering kitchen cabinets but the experience has been so horrible that I suggest people leave it to the contractors. Let them order your cabinets and install... these companies don't care once they have your money whether or not items arrive damaged. AND IF YOUR DEALING WITH CONTRACTORS ON A TIME SCALE THEN HAVING A CABINET COMPANY WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ESSENTIAL BECAUSE IF YOU CANT GET THE ISSUES RESOLVED QUICKLY REGARDING DAMAGED AND MISSING PARTS IT WILL COST YOU ON THE CONTRACTORS SIDE BECAUSE THEY ARE WAITING FOR THE ITEMS TO INSTALL. If you want a real clown show go here. I came to Kabinet King several weeks ago. My first visit was without appointment on a Saturday morning and I waited over 30 minutes with no one attempting to assist me. When I officially requested assistance since clearly I could be here all day - no one was available so I had up wait another half an hour. After spending about 30 minutes with me, I was told he had another scheduled appointment so we would need to stop and I could either wait until other appointment finished, work with another rep or schedule to come in later that same afternoon. I scheduled for later that same day. When I arrived he was "still finishing" up with another appointment so I was shuttled to another staff. After spending an extended period of time reviewing possible design options , I requested someone to measure and quote me for my complete kitchen gut since they offer that option. I was given a tentative appointment with supposed owner Bill and told I would receive confirmation later that week. I was also supposed to get follow up with representative on any changes I wanted on tentative design. Neither occurred. Emailed rep- no response. Called to verify measure and gut estimate correct- rep wasn't available and covering person could only say it looks like you are on the schedule. After multiple emails and messages finally received confirmation by email of estimate timing. Day of measure estimate no one arrives. I don't get any call advising me of anything. I wait for the entire 2 hour window time. I call to find out what is happening and my rep is not available but I am told by another rep after a prolonged wait that owner is running late. He should be there about 1 and half later than scheduled window. When he finally arrives-no apology. After all this I never ultimately any estimate for the gut weeks later. I try again to reach my rep and after multiple emails and calls finally have another appointment. Despite emails and conversation explaining my requested changes - nothing has been updated. I finally requested to be seen by another rep. We meet come up with a new design - And never get sent updated quote or design. Some of their cabinets are cheap but after getting quotes from 3 other stores their pricing is similar to everyone else. Just their their sub par service is second to none. Aside for the fact that we love our kitchen, we want to give a big shout out to designer Robin. She created an amazing floor plan for our kitchen space. She maximized the space in the most efficient and wise way possible. We highly recommend seeing Robin for your kitchen design! She is very patient and sat with us for hours on multiple occasions. She is extremely knowledgeable and super creative in her field. Most importantly, after we had closed the deal she continued working with our contractor throughout the whole process, making small changes when needed. I wish I could show you all the end results. It didn't take long for us to regret our decision to work with Kabinet King for our kitchen renovation, but unfortunately, by that point a deposit was made there was no going back. We went to Kabinet King with inaccurate measurements we had taken ourselves of our kitchen. The rep we met with told us not to worry, we could do a rough draft of the kitchen and if we put a deposit down someone from their company would come and do accurate measurements. We really liked what he made up, so we put the deposit down and scheduled a time for them to come measure. All that went fine, until we went to meet with the rep again after the measurements and he told us that he already put in the order (WITHOUT THE ACCURATE MESAUREMENTS). We told them this was unacceptable and met with another rep who agreed to work with us. This rep called the company to stop the order, and make the changes. The cabinets are delivered a few weeks later, and although they are fine, there are a bunch of little measurement things that don't line up. They weren't very serious, so we decided not to make a big deal out of it. We also ordered a quartz countertop through them that would be fulfilled by Countertop Designs in Bay Shore, NY. Our order consisted of countertops for the kitchen and then two additional ledges for the bathroom. They came to measure the countertops and forgot to measure the bathroom, which was not a big deal, our contractor did it and sent the measurements. The representative at Kabinet King assured us that everything would come together and on time. Fast forward however long it takes them to make the countertops and they forget to bring the two ledges for the bathroom. This would not be a big deal, except that our construction project was about to be done and we were going to be charged by our coop for going over time. We called Kabinet King and the representative we were working with apologized and said he would get to the bottom of it. WEEKS passed, and we still did not have the ledges. It was the holidays, so we understood, but then the rep from Kabinet King stopped returning our calls and there were no updates on the ledges. When I finally tracked the rep down in person he said that he didn't know why Countertop Designs didn't deliver the ledges, and that they were refusing to deliver them so he was going to pick them up himself (although contractually they were supposed to deliver them). I told him not to bother, and had him call them so I could pick them up myself (an hour away) just to be done with this place and with Kabinet King (they were reaaaaallll quick to throw Countertop Designs under the bus). I see that other people have had similarly terrible experiences with them, so it's definitely not us overreacting. I would NOT use them. I know it's hard to do construction and thy have a lot of reviews, but I would recommend going ANYWHERE else for your cabinets. read more

I was visiting my son's home in FL and saw his GORGEOUS new Forevermark cabinets (*he was remodeling) so when we began to build a new cabin here in TN I began searching for a supplier for them. With Covid it seemed that no one had enough inventory to guarantee that I could get them all from the same lot as they can vary from shipment to shipment (*I've seen it!) I was VERY fortunate to finally find Steve @ Kabinet King. He assured me that he would be there if I encountered any issues and even though we never met in person he was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. I was impressed, he really came across as genuine, so I decided to buy them from him. After placing my order he was true to his word. He kept me informed when the warehouse shipped and when the delivery would arrive. There was a tiny mistake in the shipment but he took care of it immediately and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the replacement item that I needed (*there was a wrong item sent) From start to finish he always promptly responded to my emails and calls, which is saying a lot as most other venders I've encountered during this build are nowhere near the caliber of Steve at Cabinet King! As kitchens go this was a very small order but you would never know that from the excellent customer service I received. I highly recommend giving them a call, I am sure they can meet your needs (*and give you a great price) if you want GREAT customer service then call Cabinet King and ask for Steve Hunter! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I use to use Kabinet king for all my kitchen projects until one day I have then measurements of a kitchen and he was suppose to design the cabinets, after that when the delivery of the cabinets came they. Did not match the measurements given therefore they were not correct. Kabinet King would not fess up to their mistake , they wanted me to pay an additional cost to them, after they saw their mistake!! Unreal and not trustworthy business people. read more

We ordered cabinets through this place last year. We had multiple issues with the corners of the cabinets being damaged and it took forever to get things straightened out and multiple phone calls, shipments of cabinets and panels and frustrations. We gad a guy come over and do touch ups to the brand new cabinets because it was taking months to get this figured out. Paid over 18k for simple shaker style cabinets and they are far away from perfect. A year after our reno was completed the touch ups that were done are starting to show. I wish we spent a little more and went with custom cabinets somewhere else. Also we ordered some paint with the cabinets to paint moldings in the kitchen and never recieved it. When we wanted to get it after we got the cabinets installed they told us it's over $300 for a pint. I would never recommend this place to anybody. read more

Bottom line: Totally a fan! Caveat: Before i recount my experience, my only caveat is that i rarely give 5 stars. 5 to me is practically perfection. I had a very short deadline because i wanted to redo my kitchen while out of town so that my baby would not be around all the dust. I went to KK because i live in the neighborhood and i like to support small neighborhood business over big box stores. Somehow i thought that meant it was going to be more expensive. And if you walk in their showroom it's very nice and clean, definitely give an "upscale i can't afford this place" feel. I sat down to do my design with Greg and was very surprised that the cost was within my pre-set budget. In fact it was lower than quotes i had received for lesser quality products. Still nervous because my kitchen has awfully weird dimensions, Michael came out to measure not once but twice just to put my mind at ease. Assembly and delivery happened before I went on vacation, as promised, and they coordinated well with my contractor in my absence for a few minor details. Overall all of my goals were met. I wanted it done quickly while i was out of town and i wanted it to be cost effective without looking cheap. The only real hitch has been a back order of hinges for one of the cabinet doors. Still waiting for them in the mail but it does not affect me being able to use my new kitchen. Greg and his team are aware of the issue and are working on it. Greg worked on our project through several changes and was most helpful and determined to be precise while calling out all of the issues we'd encounter. Matt in the showroom was super helpful in making sure the order was correct and made sure that it was delivered to the correct place. After the order arrived, Steve in customer service was patient and made sure that the manufacturer quickly replaced a few cabinets that were the wrong size (not Kabinet King's fault). My husband and I were very excited to visit Kabinet King after reading wonderful reviews online. We walked in and were impressed with the decor and display. We were met by Hadija who unfortunately ruined our experience. She did not smile once and even went as far as answering our questions with snarky comments such as "Yes, I know what drawers are" and "Is that your final answer?" Yes, we may not have been completely clear in our explanations but we are not architects nor are we designers. It should not have been difficult to modify a sketch from 2 drawers to 3. She seemed extremely exasperated each time we wanted to make a change which was only twice. We were hoping to go into Kabinet King and be helped. Our experience was great! Troy helped us from begging to end with a smile and with knowledge. Phone calls were returned the same day, kitchen arrived as promised, great communication. We used our contractor so we had no problem with the installation. I have already recommended Kabinet King to a friend. My wife and I believe that Troy is the one who made our experience great. I just used KK for kitchen cabinets for a rental. The staff is professional, courteous and accommodating . For the price and the purpose the company offers above average material. I asked my carpenters opinion on the quality of cabinets and they agreed as well. My guys just installed the cabinets, there was one small hiccup in my order but its in the process of getting rectified. James in custom service addressed my problem right away.. The only thing i have to determine is how will the cabinets hold up in the years to come.. So far they look good.. We will see... Horrible company to work with. ALL of our kitchen cabinets were damaged. Literally every single piece had something wrong with them. There were deep scratches, incomplete staining, and holes. We have been working with these incompetent people for three months and still have not received the replacement parts or the missing cabinets. Every person we spoke with has a different story and lies. I will never work with them again. I would rather pay a little bit more and get a new product not a refurbished one. This was my first kitchen reno, and within an hour or two working with Hadija and Greg, I had the plans for a gorgeous kitchen at a price I couldn't have believed. Truly one-stop shopping! I was renovating to sell so didn't go top-of-the-line but the cabinets I chose worked out great. If your budget is higher, they've got you covered. I splurged on Caesarstone counters. They measured everything and helped me design the whole project. What more could you ask? Sure, there were a few snags along the way but they were addressed promptly. Contracted this store for a kitchen cabinet renovation and ordered white shaker style cabinets. The designer I worked with ignored (or didn't listen) to my written dimensions and I ended up with a wall cabinet that was too big for my kitchen. I had to pay a restocking fee to order the correct size. My husband had to make a big stink to get the correct cabinet ordered and delivered to their showroom off Farmer's Blvd in a timely fashion. The cost of their granite is pricey so didn't order that from this store, just cabinets. Kitchen still turned out beautiful but entire ordering process could have been smoother. read more

We have had nothing but defective cabinets, and every time we receive replacements they are continuously damaged. We have had the cabinets for 4 months and they continue to crack, hinges keep breaking, and customer services response was that they are "entry level" and this should be expected, and that they will keep replacing them every time because they are under warranty. I was not aware that 8K was entry level nor should that be an excuse for defective product. In addition, how many times should doors need to be replaced just because they are under warranty? They sent us a small gift in December to offset the frustration but as these products continuously crack and get worse, I would highly recommend going to Ikea or anywhere else for cabinets instead. My bff recommended me this place for my full kitchen renovation. She used them a few months ago and was happy with her cabinets. He sent me to Troy, he was very resourceful, creative and fair while helping build my kitchen. Mike came to my house to measure on Christmas eve! I was removing a wall, Troy really helped the design come all together. They have amazing stuff here. I got Ice white shakers. The countertops are to die for and their selection of backsplash is lush. It was out of my budget to purchase it here since they are pricier. Even after the installation, Troy remained in touch and got back to me on few inquiries that I had. He was very conservative on how much I was spending for what I needed. Thank you Troy! Only thing is that while delivery some of the corners of my doors were chipped. They sent me a paint kit for touch-ups. read more

My experience with Troy was nothing short of fantastic! He is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I was uncertain about a lot of things involving the kitchen reno but Troy kept me on point and helped me figure out what was important. He was even available on many occasions after the cabinets arrived and I had questions. The cabinets are gorgeous and the kitchen is spectacular thanks, in large part, to his contribution.
