The team from A to Z ensures they truly do cover everything end to end with a great guarantee as well and follow through. Great team effort from design, construction, and behind the scenes support. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Helped bring my dream and inspiration bathroom come alive in my own space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend for any home project.

    Hallway Bathroom

2 bed 2 bath full gut renovation $350K+ including labor and supplies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I am happy with the home I received.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A lot can go wrong in construction (things can break, design doesn't work due to feasibility, wrong materials delivered) but A to Z did everything they could to make sure it turned out right. Their prices are fair, they have a ton of infrastructure support (2 showrooms, trucks driving around NYC ready to drop off supplies, design services, point of contacts with major retailers, etc.), and [[HIGHLIGHT]]they are willing to listen to any concerns along the way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend A to Z to anyone looking to renovate their apartment or home.

A to Z did our entire kitchen after a kitchen leak from our upstairs neighbors. The projected lasted from mid June - its very final detail completing in November ( the bulk of the project was completed in early September). There were a few design mistakes, in some instances felt like a lack of oversight and the normal delays in getting the materials delivered. In the middle of the kitchen project, we decided to do a little upgrade to our bathroom- vanity, mirror and countertop. The small upgrades made the bathroom look amazing. As an aside, we lived in the same small apartment when the project was going on and they were very respectful of us living there through it. As with any project, there were set backs, but these guys were honest about it along the entire process and fixed whatever mistakes ( that are inevitable in construction) when we brought it to their attention. We are beyond happy with the outcome and would hire them again without hesitation.

A to Z helped us renovate our new house in Ditmas Park. We bought the house from a flipper whose work wasn't up to our standards. David helped us assess what A to Z could do to improve the house and put our own personal touches on it. Our projects included removing the floors on the first floor, re-leveling the subfloor and installing new flooring (including removing and reinstalling the kitchen cabinets); building out the basement with a separate laundry and closet area and entertainment center; building a mudroom off the front door (pictured); finishing the garage and installing insulation and HVAC; electrical upgrades; and installing new decking on the terrace. Throughout it all, David and Max were professional and dependable. They worked hard to meet our timing goals and were easy to communicate with, and best of all were trustworthy partners with us.

Well done!!! ::slow clap:: [[HIGHLIGHT]]communication is KEY when doing large renovations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The project manager Leo did an outstanding job listening and developing a plan to address any of our concerns. The quality of work was as expected for this price point. They earned their premium - design, construction, permits, dealing with building management, insurances, subs etc. - we didn't stress! They were on time and on budget (given the rule of thumb to have contingency on hand for unknowns). The compliments keep coming and we couldn't be happier 3 months later. thanks team.

My Boyfriend recently purchased a fixer-upper in the Park Slope area and hired A to Z Renovations to renovate the entire apartment. All I can see is that we are MORE THAN PLEASED with how it came out. So much so we hired our friend who is a professional photographer to take amazing pics for us to share. Mike and his crew were a pleasure to work with. David and Max were always available to answer our constant questions and provide us with updates. We can be annoying too. All the workers were very friendly and impressed us with their fine attention to detail. We changed everything from the floors, moldings, kitchen, both bathrooms, doors and they painted the entire unit. I'm THRILLED we hired A to Z!!!!!!! If you are looking for a highly skilled, professional design and build firm I would 100% recommend their services! Thank you so much for everything!

I called A to Z Renovations for an estimate to completely redo my kitchen. David came to review our project and was able to provide us with a fair estimate for the labor and ady worked with me on the design and selecting finished material for our kitchen it was a real pleasure to work with an experience company and I am extremely happy with the final product (I will attach after pictures ) The working crew were very nice & respectable the guys came on time every morning, and made sure to clean up the working areas daily . I am pleased & very happy with my decision. I will be using A to Z Renovations again for more work that needs to be done in my home. It feels good to finally find a good firm that isn't about doing a fast cheap job, just to suck money out of you. They really do appreciate the business, and it shows in the quality of work.

    Before. Ugh. Not pretty.

A to Z Renovations did an awesome job renovating my kitchen. It was a complete demolition with a new magical kitchen emerging in its place. From the kitchen design, to choosing appliances, to navigating my coop's requirements, to the plumbing, electrical, and tile work, installing the countertop, cabinets and appliances, A to Z was there every step of the way. I love, love, love my new kitchen. I have so much more space and it's very user friendly for kitchen prep and cooking. You'll see the before, during and after.

Salesperson (Laila P) was late, was so frazzled and disconnected she provided zero guidance when looking at tile. I think I knew more about the product than she did. Follow up emails to her about tile questions were 100% incorrect ("our tiles are ceramic, non-porous tiles. They are NOT natural stone."). That is UNTRUE!!! Delivery was a joke. Per contract, delivery was with a pallet jack. They arrived with an enormous forklift that could not get down my street (or any NYC street). See image. Dropped it 150 ft from my home. Had to carry 1,350 pounds of tile 150 ft into my apartment. Customer service after that was short and rude (Sedina O). Contested delivery fee with credit card and won. Finally tried to return tiles and they refused because I reached out to them 46 days after delivery (policy is 45 days). Really??!! Go somewhere else where you can buy the same tile for less money. They charge extra so they can pay for their MASSIVE showrooms all over the world. The sales people there are useless. Good luck getting any support from corporate. They are non existent.

What stood out immediately was that she didn't just try to "sell" me a bathroom. She actually paid attention to how I live day to day and designed the space around that. She noticed little things I didn't even think about, like where lighting should hit the mirror, storage that wouldn't make the room feel crowded, and materials that looked expensive without feeling cold or overly trendy. The biggest difference with NYKB was that the process never felt chaotic. Usually when people talk about renovations it's horror stories, delays, and constantly chasing people down. I never felt that here. Everything felt intentional and handled. Maia somehow managed to make a renovation feel calm, which I didn't think was possible. Now that it's finished, my bathroom genuinely feels like part of a luxury hotel suite but still personal and comfortable. Everyone who comes over comments on it immediately. Looking back, choosing NYKB was probably the best decision I made for the project. Maia has an eye that's very hard to find.

The apartment belongs to an 88-yr old man, who has lived there for over 50 years. Every step of the reconstruction process in this 1890 building has been high-quality in every respect, including communications with the insurance company and with the coop board and other residents. In addition to their professionalism, the compassion and kindness demonstrated consistently by every member of the NYKB staff has touched us deeply. The fire and loss his home have been emotionally distressing for this elderly friend, but we have been comforted beyond words by the experience of working with NYKB. I am happy to provide this review, because I was guided to NYKB by the reviews of others. Be assured that you can engage NYKB with confidence.

Her comment posted to my previous Yelp review gives you an idea as to the type of people you can expect to work with over at NY Rainbow. As posted back in 2013 (and as I reminded Wendy) my Yelp review is an accurate recap of my experience wth NY Rainbow. Nowhere in my review did not indicate that I was a customer or that any money exchanged hands. Everything that's there is an accurate summary of my grueling experience with NY Rainbow. Emails and phone calls are the cost of doing business. As I told Kris and Wendy previously, I was on vacation (personal time) during most of my correspondence with them, so my time was as valuable (and arguably more valuable) than theirs. I made the scope of work known and very clear from the get go and I admitted FROM THE START it was a smaller project. If they didn't want to take on my smaller project, they should have said so at the start and saved everyone the time and frustration.
