Chaplin Cafe is located in Tilleho Namesti (Chaplinovo namesti tram stop), right across BILLA and the ZAMZAM pharmacy. Their main offer is very delicious sweets (icecreams, cakes, etc), but they also have "chlebicky" and of course all drinks which are on the usual menu in every restaurant/coffee place. I ate one chlebicka (18 czk) and cappuccino (39 czk). They were both ok, not bad but nothing special. The 3 star review is for the lack of WiFi inside the coffee place. They do have a WiFi with their name, but when I asked for the password, they said it is inly for the boss and not for costumers. It is important for me because my work is usually through internet. Besides that, the place is ok for being the ony place out there.

With one week left in the course and an imminent move, I felt like I should review this cutesy shop. It's located on the ground floor of Fenix. When you walk in, the shop is to the left and enclosed in glass with an automatic door. Avoid walking into said glass. Once inside, you can go up to the counter to order or sit down if you'd like table service. They are prompt and generally friendly either way. I've been often but they never seem to recognize me. Whatever. At least the coffee has been consistently good -- aside from the time my roommate asked for soy milk and I asked for regular milk but got soy too :(. Oh well. Mistakes happen! From this shop, I most prefer: -Large hot americano with milk. -Iced cappuccino. -Strawberry (or regular) oreo shake. -Lunch bagel. That thing is GOOD. Only takes them a few minutes to make fresh! Somehow I've withstood the temptation to purchase any of their delectable-looking pastries, but I assume I'll cling onto them for comfort as the hardest week of my course commences soon! However, I had a less pleasant experience with my barista who straight up said "I don't know" when I asked her if their new coconut drink was vegan. Not wanting to "bother" her, I ended up getting cherry iced green tea because I knew that would most likely be vegan.
