The bar has a rocky ceiling that creates the atmosphere of a bar built into a cave. At the beginning of our visit, they played American rock from the early 2000s before switching to German rock from the same period. I ordered the Caipirinha. My drink was of poor quality and had a low liquid-to-container ratio. Overall, I would not recommend Flip even though it seems like a cool spot.

There is both an outside patio and an inside bar to dine in, and what's super cool about the inside area is that it is actually built into rock, so the inside has parts of the rock as the actual ceiling. The music was an eclectic mix of pop, folk, alternative, and classic rock. The bar is Charles Darwin-themed with abundant evolution and Darwin paraphernalia around the bar. I tried the Balimero. The flavor was unusual but complex. Overall, I had a good experience at Darwin's and would recommend them for cocktails in Salzburg.

A few steps more and up, you see a beautiful bar with pub tables on each side. The entire place felt like the rock was spooned out forming a cozy cave. We happened upon the bars opening time and were greeted by a gentleman bartender. He was warm, friendly and willing to please. The drink menu was abundant with classics and house specials.
