I actually wonder why the technology hasn't improved over the years. Seems simple enough that if something doesn't work well, you tweak it and make it better. At least most industries do. Not the automatic car wash industry evidently because we'll just keep coming by spending our money for an almost clean ride. Splash Express is by far the worst automatic car wash that I've used in several years though. The staff is friendly enough but the actual wash tunnel does not even begin to come close to cleaning your car. There were at least 3 or 4 of the brushes that didn't even touch my car on the right side. I'm used to a little dirt left over on my side mirrors and maybe a little dead center on the back of the car but this was terrible. I had leftover dirt on almost every panel and I say almost because I think that the roof was actually clean. I even ponied up the $20 for their best offered wash and this is what I get for my money? No thank you! They do offer free vacuums after your wash but they might want to stop that because it gives the customer time to see how dirty their car still is. I can't even say that if I had gone through multiple times that it would get any better. Do yourself a favor and wash your car at home. The investment is much lower and the job should get done right.

So I'm trying to even out the one 1 star review from 2 years ago. This is a drive thru touchless wash. IT IS PERFECT FOR REMOVING HIGHWAY GRIME AND A LITTLE LITE SAP we got under a tree last night. Even with parts of the $9 Works wash not working today, the spots of sap are gone from the windshield and paint. So we are happy enough . The fact that this is a TOUCHLESS wash is good. There are no brushes or rags that contain grit, slapping your paint. This wash relies on the power of their bubbles and high pressure water to clean your car. It's nice to find a touchless wash right next to a freeway on a road trip! There are also several DIY car wash bays and pay vacuums. Side Note If you have the time, take a drive through Toppenish to admire all the beautiful murals painted on the buildings! Really a lovely little town to drive around. The price wasn't bad, pretty on par for the course, and it seemed to go through all the necessary steps but while it erased the most obvious dirt it didn't really clean my car. Afterwards I pulled off to the side where the vacuums were and used their available microcloth to wipe down the car. The cloth quickly turned black from the dirt it picked up. My car looked better, but I am uncertain if it was worth the money and time.

Booked a mobile appointment for my husband as his very first Father's Day gift…read more Thought we were good to go until I received a call and a text at 9pm the night before our morning appointment telling me that they would need to reschedule as well as charge me an additional $100+ fee for travel. I made my appointment 2 weeks prior so the fact that I wasn't made aware of this fee until the night before the service is crazy. I opted to cancel my appointment all together, I'm not a fan of how they manage their business. I'm also super disappointed that the gift my husband was so excited for won't happen until I can find someone else to detailed his truck - hopefully someone more reliable.
