She said she did not need a down payment as getting my makeup done cost $75. She asked me to confirm with her a few months before to show that I am still Interested. I confirmed with her in May. So everything was great. I learned that she was moving to coquitlam which posed a problem for me. When booking my appt with her I informed her that I would be coming to her place in Richmond as I booked my hair with someone else in richmond. I asked her in May if she would be moving and if she was it would pose a problem for me and I booked her for convenience to have everything done in Richmond. She said she would let me know soon as she would be moving. I did not hear from her for a month. So I messaged her and asked her. She said she will not be moving but because I did not confirm with her she booked someone else! I informed her that I did confirm with her and she was supposed to get back to me regarding moving. She did not even apologize. I have the text messages of my conversation with her. If she keeps her messages she would see that she made a mistake. She is clearly unprofessional and unorganized. If you don't have a contract with her I would be worried. If you do, make sure she remembers. Hopefully she has learned from this and uses a scheduler.

During the trial she was very detailed and took lots of time to make sure that I was happy with the final look, and on the wedding day the whole team that came (we had a large bridal party, and Mink will provide more assistants to the main artist to make sure that you finish on time) was fantastic. What was important for me too was that everyone had very good hygiene standards when doing our makeup, so nobody was worried about cold sores or breaking out from contaminated product. Everyone's hair and makeup held up and we were done very efficiently. Pictures turned out great!! I'd definitely recommend Mink to anyone looking for a mobile hair/makeup service for their wedding party.

Not only was she very friendly and put me at ease, I was so pleased with how my hair looked and felt at the end of the session. She asked me all about how I wanted my hair to be and fulfilled everything. Then, after the appointment, Nana reached out to me and let me know that I had left behind my jacket. She went out of her way to make arrangements with me so I could get my jacket back on a day the salon was closed. Overall, Nana was so wonderful and I can't recommend her enough!
