Since both items we ordered had been prepared beforehand and didn't require additional cooking, our order was ready in about three minutes. Overall, I thought the chili was just ok. Although all the ingredients in the chili were properly cooked, the chili as a whole lacked depth of flavor. Additionally, when I opened the container, there was an unappetizing amount of oil that had pooled to the top. I am not used to seeing olives and mushrooms mixed into chili, but these additions added some more texture to the chili. The mac salad was a big miss for me. I thought the macaroni was slightly overcooked, the salad lacked salt, and there was just too much mayo mixed in. I'm genuinely curious if I ordered all the wrong items, because other folks seem to really enjoy food from Hirano Store. Based off of my single experience today, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit Hirano Store again.

Woodland Center is available to fill up our needs at that time. Bandit got a hot coffee and I got soda. Basically it is a gas station with a convenient store where you can buy something along the road. They even got ramen cup noodles and some Filipino treats. For sure they have something to offer for anybody. Staffs are just okay. The convenient store aren't that busy and the gas station are flowing moderately. Her attitude and emotional regulation were so poor, she quickly escalated and started threatening to call the police because it was "private property" after I told her she could have just calmly told us paying customers to leave. This may seem like a ridiculous complaint, but I really don't understand the reasoning behind a rule they have. They stop selling alcohol 15 minutes before 11 PM. 11 PM is state law for "off-premise" alcohol sites such as grocery, convenience, and liquor stores. They show no leniency towards their 10:45 PM rule.

Because of the pandemic restaurants close at 9pm at the most and you don't have a choice but to eat the possible quick bites along the way. Nearest 7-Eleven is in the Kurtistown and glad that I am not that kinda high maintenance woman and I am just okay with cheap bites from 7-Eleven. LoL. So we got there, ad we're greeted upon entering. Pretty decent convenient store and it's pretty clean. Got carbonara spaghetti and sliced cantaloupe fruit. Cold water to wash out my food down and some sweet treats to reward myself. And I am settled, ended my tummy so full at the end of the night and happily leave the store. Convenient store like this saved a lot of people from hunger like me.
