    Son's surgery went well:)

This Kaiser is ok. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. This location is super packed and sometimes goes super slow. Most of our interactions have been pleasant.

I was admitted to room 608 in Fontana Tuesday, December 9, so I have no idea if my bed was properly disinfected before they put me on it

I was admitted they did not administer my medication correctly they messed quite a few dosages, they took two hours to bring me lunch, they threw my clothes everywhere on the counter

Baked Chicken Breast with brown rice/quinoa and sliced zucchini

This review is for the room service dining when admitted into the hospital. This is not a review for the cafeteria, although some of the items may be the same. During my 10+ days hospital visit, I was able to try many of the items on the menu that are for a Renal (kidney) diet. Other menu items are offered but were not available to me. For hospital food, it wasn't bad. Bring some salt/pepper with you and you might feel like you're eating at a fancy restaurant. The presentation of the food was above expectations. My favorite meal was the baked chicken breast with either lemon caper sauce or sesame glaze. The chicken was moist and juicy and fresh. The sauce could use some seasoning, but for those on low-sodium diets it tastes pretty good as is. The brown rice with quinoa side was filling, also needed seasoning. The vegetables were plain and boring but the plus side is that they still had a little crunch and weren't overcooked...just get some butter and salt free seasoning to make it taste better. The first night that I tried the salmon, it tasted fresh was flaky and moist, but as the week progressed it became really dry and old/frozen tasting, so I can't recommend it. I'd say pass on the chicken noodle soup, nothing good to say about it. The garden salad had carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers and onions. Chicken salad, egg salad, and tuna salad were basic...nothing bad and nothing too good about them either. Turkey meatloaf is okay, but the gravy had no flavor. Needs salt. Breakfast items are all pretty good, except the scrambled eggs I think were powdered eggs.

Did nothing to save my niece at 22 weeks let her die in my sisters arm's because if she was in pomona valley hospital they would of tried to save my niece not let her die in my sister's arms that was torture and the nurses act like they didn't care worst hospital ever Kaiser Permanente hospital. I just say they'll let you die there don't go there.

He was thorough in going over my H&P as well as answering all of my questions and concerns. Recently, I was informed that my appointment was simply canceled due to the doctor's unavailability. I was not given a meaningful alternative or accommodation, and the cancellation was made against my wishes after I had already waited a significant amount of time for care. When I called to reschedule, I was told that the next available appointment would not be until September. In other words, because of a scheduling issue on the provider's side, I am now expected to wait several additional months to receive medical care. What makes this even more concerning is that my health has been deteriorating while I wait for treatment. I sought this appointment because I need medical care, not because it is optional. Being told that I must wait until September despite worsening symptoms is both frustrating and alarming. The only alternative offered was for me to call every day to check whether another patient had canceled an appointment so that I might be able to take that opening. This is not a reasonable solution. I work on specific days and cannot constantly call the office hoping that an appointment becomes available at a time when I am able to leave work and attend on short notice. If an opening becomes available while I am at work, I am effectively out of luck. It is unacceptable to place the burden on patients to repeatedly call the office every day in hopes of obtaining care, especially after waiting since April and while dealing with a declining health condition. Patients deserve timely access to medical treatment and reasonable accommodations when appointments are canceled through no fault of their own. As a result of this experience, I will be filing a formal grievance with my insurance provider. I hope this office improves its scheduling practices, prioritizes patients with ongoing medical needs, and shows greater consideration for those whose health may worsen while waiting months for an appointment.

I recently switched from Kaiser and was looking for a new doctor…read more My employer offers lab work for free under their program. I got lab work and results came back less than perfect so I decided to make an appointment for a physical exam. I made the appointment a month in advance, I show up ready to hear the doctors advice. This is where things went south. They take my vitals and show me to my room. The nurse assistant walked me into the room, glanced at the table that had dirty exam table paper and didn't change it!! This paper had visible fluids from the last person - now I'm wondering where else are they cutting corners. I change the paper myself and wait for the doctor to come in. The doctor comes in, he's friendly but rushed. I tell him about my lab work results, I let him know these were done a month ago. He proceeds to tell me he needs to order these tests himself before he can comment on them. I'm thinking that's fine, not a big deal. I take my lab work paper and he asks the nurse assistant to schedule an appointment in a month for the results. I am thinking in the next appointment we will go over family history and concerns since the initial appointment was cut short. I go get my labs done at Quest again, same labs but now I have to pay for them. My appointment is scheduled as a tele health appointment (a phone call). The day of my appointment I get a phone call hours before my appointment, it's the front desk asking for my copay. I tell them this is part of my physical exam appointment and they are covered by my insurance, the doctor is only going to review the lab results. NOPE, they want my $75 copay or I don't get my results. I was really confused so I ask again, do I really have to pay for the doctor to read me the results? "Yes, how would you like to pay" I canceled the tele health appointment. It really shows the doctor does not care about patients, it's all about money. Would not recommend!

Incredibly disrespectful staff, including the doctor that was supposed to see my mother. They went as far as making racially inclined remarks about my mother because she doesn't speak much English. The complete disregard for human decency was truly astounding. You should be ashamed of yourselves. The people that work here have lost sight of what their job is. They're here to provide quality care. That includes being able to communicate with your patients successfully. Using the medical assistant or the nurse assistant that has zero experience in correctly translating medical jargon is simply not acceptable. So much can be lost in translation with someone that's proficient, let alone someone that doesn't know what they're doing and that clearly doesn't have the necessary experience for the job they're being asked to do. They have zero patience for anything that doesn't fit into what their expectations of what an ideal patient should be. Zero empathy for any of their patients, especially those that don't speak proper English. They are unwilling to be accommodating in any way. I'm not an unreasonable person, and my mother is a kind person. We did not incite this type of treatment. The way they treated my mother was completely unprovoked. This is simply how they treat all their patients it seems like, based on the other reviews I saw. It's is completely and utterly unacceptable. Please do better.
