We scheduled a session with Sarah, the owner, when our son was just a few weeks old. Of course, during the session, the baby wanted to eat again and our toddler wanted to run around. It was chaos but Sarah didn't flinch and got some beautiful photos. Our recent photo shoot was a family shoot on the beach. It was amazing! We got some great posed shots, but Sarah lives up to her calling as a photographer of life. She caputred the kids playing, enjoying the ocean and really stamped the moments in time. Both my husband and I consider ourselves fairly awkward when it comes to taking formal pictures and…read more(to be honest) were not completely looking forward to our engagement session. However, within minutes, any of these feeling were completely forgotten and it truly shows in the finished product. The pictures were better than we ever could have imagined and Trish managed to make the entire session enjoyable - even my husband would agree, which is no small feat! She even managed to capture some adorable shots with our very squirmy and uncooperative little dog. We had our hearts set on capturing our engagement pictures in the snow, which had seemed like a good idea in theory, but we were left questioning ourselves with temperatures well below freezing on the morning of our engagement shoot. Trish was a fantastic sport and never once mentioned the cold, and even helped us forget, capturing the gorgeous pictures efficiently, but never making us feel hurried. We had the same experience with Trish at our rehearsal dinner, where we didn't even notice her taking pictures throughout the meal. She delivered them to us very quickly (especially in comparison to how long I've heard it typically takes for many wedding photographers) and we could not be more thrilled with the final product. So so happy with our pictures!! We did an Easter shoot with our 19 month old son and live ducklings…read moreand bunnies and it was too cute. The animals were very friendly, you can tell they had been loved on and had a lot of human contact. Amanda was so great to work with, very laid back and is great with kids! The studio space was super easy to get too and had plenty of parking which was great. There was such ease when it came to viewing our photo gallery and choosing which photos we wanted. I'm so very happy with our experience and will most definitely be working with Amanda again!!

I had to get a professional headshot for my company's website and Maura came highly recommended by…read more3 different people (my hair stylist and 2 different makeup artists). She does a great job with the photographs but also making clients feel comfortable knowing that it is not a natural thing for those of us who are generally uncomfortable with our picture being taken. Her rates are VERY reasonable. She does a combination of oufits/jewelry, hair in front/to the side, indoors/outdoors. I haven't received the finished product yet but even the proofs came out nice! Tips I learned from getting my photograph taken: yes to getting my hair done and makeup professionally done. If you have long hair, wear some photos of your hair framing your face and keep it simple with the clothing - solid color and textures don't always translate. Also, keep jackets buttoned up as they can gape in an unflattering manner if you are a female with a chest. These tips have nothing to do with Maura's skill at taking photographs (she is, indeed, very skilled) but more to do with you doing your part to ensure a good end result. She is renowned for her editing abilities so I can't wait to get the final photographs but the unedited ones were really good and I am as unphotogenic as they come. If I ever need to take a professional photograph in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Maura. She was very pleasant to work with and talented at her craft. Her rates were very reasonable ($225 for over an hr photo shoot and 5 edited photogpraphs)!
