My wife's CPAP machine broke over three months ago, and from the start, this process was mishandled. She was communicating with a representative named Darlene, who confidently told her--without ever reviewing the insurance policy--that she would be personally responsible for the cost of repairs. This was incorrect. The insurance provider, Regence, later confirmed that Alpine Home Medical is contractually responsible for the cost under their agreement. Once this error became apparent, communication deteriorated completely. Darlene stopped returning calls and messages. Regence made multiple attempts to speak with her directly to explain the policy and Alpine's contractual obligations, but Alpine Home Medical became effectively unreachable. We spent approximately four hours trying (unsuccessfully) to get Regence and someone from Alpine on the phone together so the issue could be resolved. That burden should never fall on the patient. Meanwhile, my wife has gone without her CPAP for more than three months. Anyone familiar with sleep apnea understands how medically dangerous this is. She has suffered the acute consequences of sleep deprivation and now faces potential long-term risks to her cardiovascular and pulmonary health--all because a medical equipment supplier failed to manage a straightforward repair and insurance process. The entire experience was sketchy, off-putting, slow, clunky, and profoundly unprofessional. This goes far beyond poor customer service; it reflects a lack of accountability in a setting where delays directly affect patient health. As a physician myself, I would never trust Alpine Home Medical again, nor would I feel comfortable recommending them to patients who depend on timely, reliable access to life-sustaining medical equipment. If you value responsiveness, transparency, and patient safety, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

They are the worst company that I have ever delt with (32 years experience in the medical field)…read more I was told mis information from the time that I purchased equipment in 2021. I received a corrected billing almost 2 years later. When I called about it, they authorized me to return some of the unopen equipment. Over a year later I receive a collection notice. They state now that they didn't credit my account for the $350.00 of equipment that I returned as it was over their return dates (but was approved before I returned it) To top it off their collection agency is just as bad at responding. STAY AWAY FROM ALPINE HOME MEDICAL!
