Took my van early Tuesday, August 8 to get a tire repaired. All good? Today, Thursday, I noticed my tire flat. I looked and the screw was still in the tire. I took it back to Kal Tire. Once I explained the situation, I was met with defensive and accusatory attitudes by both the male and female staff at the front. I didn't care - just wanted it fixed. But you made me feel bad. And that is some of the worst customer service I ever experienced. I went in there with a completely calm demeaner, and was treated like crap. I guess - lots of other tire places in the area. Had to swap out TPMS Sensors, Kal tire said no problem and no need to rebalance. Just put the tires on on Saturday. Shook so bad I went straight , back to the tire shop... sorry to busy...come back Monday? I work, wouldn't give me an answer on a ride to work...When to the dealer and 3 of the 4 were out of balance. Kal Tire will not refund and used every excuse to say it was my fault. They got my money but never again...Don't care about there customers and will not admit to sloppy work. I will stay away. I made an appointment over the telephone two weeks ago to get some work completed on my vehicle. When i arrived at the shop this morning for my appointment i was told there was no appointment. I was given two options - leave my vehicle for the entire day or come back tomorrow. They could care less about the inconvenience to the customer. Went in to see if my tires would be covered by warranty. Lights out on sign, but suppose to be open another 20 minutes. Told the front desk guy bought tires in Swift at kal tire. Gave him phone number and name . He reacted negatively that he would not be able to find the invoice. I had just spoken with guys in Swift and I offered to phone and have them send. Suddenly he could find my invoice no problem. Then he says to me the tires have been discontinued. I stayed put and did not leave. He finally begrudgingly went outside and measured them. But he came up with different measurements from another shop that told me I had issues. So now I tell him I will call the other shop. He huffs off to his office telling me they are closing soon. I get the numbers from the other shop, lower than his but they mention it is only 1/32 in spots on rear because of cupping. I tell the guy at kal and get an angry response that means tires are worn because of shocks and no warranty. Well this actually makes sense because I had shock work done at other shop. Fair no warranty but what a torturous and unpleasant customer service. Need new tires but I would not purchase there. Too bad because kal tire in Swift has incredible service. read more

Every time I have gone to this location, my appointment has been pushed back. Today I was willing to give them another chance but after giving them 2 hours to mount new tires, I came back to find my truck was still not in the shop. I don't care if it's a bad scheduling program or poor management, this is simply unacceptable customer service. I will not give them another try. read more

Kal tire leaves me on hold for 10 minutes everytime I call,and when someone does answer they were not helpful in the least and rather dismissive. I was calling to replace a tire on my car, and could not take the time to see if they had my size, its like they have no interest unless you are making a major purchase. went in for a tire repair, which they used to do on the spot. the rim and tire were off the vehicle and ready to go. they asked me to leave it with them until the End of the day. Many other shops in the area do it immediately. They will no get my business any longer ( tires also purchased from this location) . Don't give these guys your money. read more

DO NOT GO! It's not the store itself, the customer service guys are good. It's management and higher ups that clearly don't care about their customers. Used to love Kal, but a situation today has turned me off of them. I wrote this letter to their customer service. It explains everything. Dear Whom It May Concern, I bought my winter tires and rims from Kal Tire in 2015. I bought these with the promise that each time I need to change my tires I would not have to pay for them to be changed. My family have been loyal users of Kal for at least a decade. I go into the East Quance location in Regina today to get them changed and I am told that I am being charged for this service. A service that 2 years ago I was told for certain for the life of the tire, if I got my rims, I would not need to pay extra. Your store also admitted they failed to mention I had aliment issues and my summer tires now need to be replaced and I also now need an aliment on my car. To be honest, I'm not as upset about this as I am about the lies your company told me about my seasonal tire change. I can get over the aliment issue. However, I refuse to buy my new summer tires and get an aliment at a company that has false advertising and a company that lies to their customers. You have lost a very very loyal customer and I assure you my father, SO, and sister will also be upset about this and you will likely lose at least them as well. Word of mouth is a strong form of marketing! (I also doubt I'm the only one outraged by this!) I will also write this situation on as many reviewing sites as I possibly can to spread the word that your company clearly doesn't care about its customers and is willing to lie to their customers to make or save money. Finally, I am also upset that this new abhorrent policy was not even voiced or warned to me. I was just told about the charge when I went into today. They did dissolve the charge this time, but what about next time? This was a totally unfair and disappointing policy. We should be grandfathered in.
