I'd give this office zero stars if I could. HORRIBLE customer service. They'd rather have a person suffer in pain than to accept CASH payment for a visit. They refused to allow me to make an appointment, because they don't accept my insurance. What a horrible way to treat someone that is willing to pay out of pocket for their visits. Extremely rude and disrespectful. I had to reschedule my disabled daughter's appointment twice because of the inclement winter weather and she has to be transported in her wheelchair. Kind of difficult to push someone in snow in a wheelchair so I called to reschedule two different times they claimed I no called no-showed when I did speak to someone and they rescheduled her appointment. I was not informed that there was a limit on how many times I could reschedule due to the weather.. when I called to reschedule the final time no one answered the phone so I left a message right when their business should have been opening and no one called me back. So I called them back to reschedule again and they claimed I couldn't make another appointment that I no called no showed which is a complete lie. Because the receptionist was being so rude about it I hung the phone up rather then be spoken to like I was stupid. About 10 minutes later their office called me and they hung up on me, I guess because they found that amusing. I didn't find it very professional and highly disrespectful. I called back to question why I was hung up on and they said it was a misdial?! Then why would you not answer the person and just hang up on people?! If that's the way this establishment treats disabled patients and their caregivers I don't feel they deserve to be in business. I would highly advise finding care elsewhere. And whoever the childish receptionist was needs to be fired. Because of their disrespectful nonsense I had to be referred to another podiatrist. My daughter is severely impaired and disabled and has a decaying toenail with a possible fungal infection and they refused her care. read more

I received insoles from this practice after being told my insurance would cover the $380.00 cost. I was later billed for the insoles because my insurance refused to pay. I called BCBS to make an inquiry and was told they are covered under my insurance, but the podiatrist office was using the wrong code. They had already billed twice. I was placed on hold while my insurance representative called the practice. She was told that they would NOT bill again--making me responsible for payment! I don't understand why I should be held responsible for their coding error! read more

Kalamazoo Podiatry is my 3rd podiatry office that I've gone to for multiple foot problems. Dr. Bredeweg recommended MLS Lazer treatment which helped me considerably. He is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me greatly! Dottie is the best! She does the Lazer treatment and is everything you want in a health care provider. I can stand and walk on my feet much longer than before. They also helped my son who pronates when he walks/runs. He had 3D inserts made and his foot pain level decreased significantly. read more

I asked my PCP for a referral for arthritic foot pain on the tops of my feet. The "doctor" at Kalamazoo Podiatry did some x rays and recommended insoles I was assured my private insurance would cover. I received the insoles and within minutes my ankles and then back were in pain. I sent the insoles back to the insole company. They sent them back to me. I returned the insoles to Kalamazoo Podiatry and was told they couldn't help me but they would sell me the insoles at cost which is about $300 instead of $400, not a cent covered by insurance (most likely because it's quackery). This practice does not care about good care or customer satisfaction and those insoles and laser treatments on the video screen in the waiting room are a scam! Btw, my foot pain cured itself without any treatment about two weeks after my initial visit. Strong work, doc. What kickback do you get from selling those insoles to everyone who walks through your door? read more
