I was not 15 minutes early for the appointment because the trees block the sign for the building and it's really hard to see the building. It's on a one way street, so it's not as if you can easily turn around and go back, and I had to drive around the block to get in the driveway. The actual check-in took 2 min and then I had to wait another 10 minutes, so why the rush?

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to schedule an appointment. After reviewing the diagnostic tests, examining my knee, reviewing my medical history, and interviewing me, Dr. Ream announced that I was a good candidate for partial instead of complete knee replacement. He explained that I had the choice of either and explained the benefits and disadvantages of each. I elected the partial knee procedure and Dr. Ream performed the surgery nearly a year ago. He and his staff thoroughly prepared me for the procedure, took appropriate precautions due to my existing heart conditions, explained well what I should expect after the surgery, and provided me with instructions for self-administered physical therapy. Dr. Ream is personable, competent, and willing to invest whatever time is necessary to answer any questions. His staff reflects the same characteristics. Almost a year after my surgery, I am pain-free, have full range of motion, and could not be more satisfied. For those persons in Southwest Michigan needing an outstanding orthopedic surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Todd Ream.

The speculum was *agony* and I'm shaking in pain, even with Advil and a high pain tolerance. She then pauses and says she used the standard size "so she could see better." She moves on to collect the sample, saying it's just "discomfort." I felt so violated I went back to my car and cried. She lied to make a simple procedure easier on herself, causing her patient pain that didn't need to be there.

I was nervous coming in for my first exam and then subsequent minor procedures, but everyone made me feel comfortable. I was impressed that I never felt pressured regarding my life choices, which often can happen around other women and/or in conservative areas. I was particularly impressed on two separate occasions there-- once, I had a minor procedure which made me very nervous and I ended up having a bad reaction and sort of fainted. The staff was extremely kind and concerned, giving me water and juice, making an embarrassing situation much better. Another time that I happened to be there for an appointment, there was a car accident directly in front of the office, which happened to involve a pregnant patient. I watched it happen and then watched the staff jump into action, calling for help, assisting the drivers and the child, making sure everything was okay. All during this time, they continued to serve myself and the other patients as well. If I didn't move too far away, I'd absolutely continue seeing this provider.
