My two experience were on summer times and you are fascinated with the location and the ambiance of the place. You take a short boat ride to small Galatasaray island from Kurucesme by their private boats so you do not have to pay. This short boat trip is already a nice start. When you arrive on the island the scenery and the ambiance attracts you before the food and you just start to think how lucky you are being in the middle of the Bosphorus viewing Europa and Asia and feel that you are the luckiest person in the world. The food was good, the staff members are friendly. We tried set menu since we wanted to taste from different meze plates and kebaps. Set menu includes different types of cold mezes, hot starters - small Turkish pizza, dolma, meat ball etc. different kebap types, desert and fruit with two glasses of drink. The food was sufficient and we were full. However at the end you have to pay for all these amenities but during summer time it really worth to pay that much money. Last time I went to Suada on a breezy day in spring time when its summer place has not been opened yet. We went there with a group of 15 people so we ordered set menu again. The service stuff were still friendly, the food was good. After all there are some issues that made me unhappy with. First the ambiance was totally different than its summer place and I felt like eating kebap at a factory, you don't feel that you are in the middle of two continents. Secondly, the service was too fast, although we warned them too be slow a bit but they didn't pay any attention. So we ate in a hurry and paid a lot without understanding anything from the food. I strongly recommend you to go there during summer time before the sun sets to view the scenery in between the two continents. This way you may not feel the pain while paying the bill. As a conclusion, the summer place is 5 stars, winter place is 3 stars and the average is 4 stars....
