Called "Glen in Bloom", this artwork is interactive, there are things for the kids to go find on the mural. It's basically a sort of a scavenger hunt type idea. Teaching kids and adults alike about the local area birds and plants. It's painted on the outside of the shelter near the parking lot off Glen Ave.

Located on the side of the Williamsville Townhall, is this fantastically large mural. It was put up…read morein 2019 by a local artist Chris Piontkowski. I couldn't find the name for it, but I drive by it all the time and stoped for a closer look today. You'll see it as you are either walking in the area or at the local farmers market, or driving down Main Street towards Buffalo, It's on the east side of the building. Williamsville's Beautification Committee raised the money for this and it's a large public art and public funded project.

So I'm surprised that after 25+ years we've never been in the village hall. They're next to the library with the Amherst town hall (which I've been in MANY times on the other side. Village of Williamsville being part of the town of Amherst. I saw that they were giving out the free covid test kits, so I decided to stop and pick up a few. As instructed, I called 1st to see if they still had them and that's when I found out about this building. Long story but I just found it interesting that I never knew this building existed, though I've admired their mural on the side of the building since It was added in August 2020. There's a large parking lot in the back and you can usually also find parking on the street. The inside is pretty nondescript with long halls and small offices spread throughout. 2022-13

Fantastic village multi-use village trail!…read more The trail is about the width of a car and well-paved. It is surrounded by trees, shrubs, and many homes back up to the trail - creating a safe walking/biking/visiting with friends spot. There is a bike rack, so you may bike to the trail and then walk. There is a water bottle filling station, with a water fountain. There are plenty of well-maintained benches to stop and rest. The grass is kept short - so no worries of ticks in long grass along the trail. Although the trail itself is rather short, it is ideal for strollers, wheelchairs, it's pretty, and shaded. It's a lovely place and the Village of Williamsville can be commended for providing this little spot of heaven - so perfect for so many purposes! Ample parking by the Lehigh Museum on S. Long St.

Chuck Tingley and Matt Grote teamed up on this one. This is a very imaginative piece that makes you think of cartoons or childrens book characters. It overlooks the parking lot of the Horizon building. Designed by a number of local students, a local artist oversaw the painting of it. It's a very bright Mural to come across as you're heading down Bailey.
