We call the Lehigh Memory Trail a "bike path". I'm sure everyone has its own description for this place. It's just a narrow area with an asphalt walking path lined with many varieties of trees and bushes on both sides. Every season provides a beautiful setting for walking or riding a bike here. The Williamsville Depot is the main focal point and an interesting historic structure. I believe different kinds of public events are hosted here. Also, some time ago, there was even a vegetable share located here which was really cool. Let's enjoy it as it is now because before long this place will be much more crowded. According to the news, this fall a developer will start building townhouses just next to the path. The new development will contain 30 units which could mean 30 more dogs going for a walk here regularly.

Taken last November- still lots of leaves on the trees!

Paved trail great for riding a bike, walking your dog, roller blading, or more! There are garbage cans along the trail as well as a few benches. It's a short trail, about 1 mike round trip. There's a parking lot for the trail on S. Long st. At this entrance there's an old railroad station, a box car, a caboose, and some grassy space good for a picnic. The trail starts here and ends at Cayuga st. You'll often see photo shoots taking place here as it's a great spot for it! The trail itself was a railroad track and paved over. The railroad depot was constructed in 1896 and is only one of three original mainline Lehigh Valley stations that still exist in New York State in their original locations. A friend and I came here tonight to go walking. It's a hidden gem, just off of Main Street, in Williamsville. The paved trail is about a mile in length. There was some interesting wildlife. (Just a few squirrels canoodling and a bunny.) The trail has a few benches and has many trees with memorials in front of them. The paved path is nice and wide, so you can pass people or give them more distance. You're definitely not right on top of people. I'd love to come back here to go walking soon. It's a great spot.

Such a beautiful hidden path in Williamsville to take an evening stroll, walk your dog, or check out the tree blossoms that line the trail.
