The service was incredibly friendly and the shop very clean and bright but I think Mind's Eye Manufactory down the way or the Blacksmith Shop are much more Ferndale in the items they sell. I'm not sure this space may be the best home for Red Eye's style of work long term, but it's definitely worth a peek if you're in the area and love his type of work.

The new owner wonderfully showed me the studio, which was filled with a plethora of locally made items such as scarves, teddy bears, doll houses and Christmas ornaments. I ended up purchasing a gorgeous ornament for under ten dollars made from the type of the original Ferndale newspaper and marveling at the change that had been made to my old home.
