I had two vehicles that needed windshield glass replacement and both vehicles have advanced driver safety features as well as full-self-driving beta which requires the vehicles be calibrated after a windshield replacement. This used to mean that the car would have to sit all day at the Safelite location until they got around to working on it and then at about 15 minutes before closing time they would call and say the vehicle is ready. Now with Turning Point Glassworks, their skilled technician comes to my home or work with their mobile calibration system, replaces the glass, and calibrates the camera all in the span of about 45 minutes! They are very communicative sending text messages and telephone calls to keep you up to date on the progress of your replacement (including the ordering and scheduling process) and Calindra is always friendly and cheerful. All in all the easiest, smoothest, and least complicated/disruptive glass repairs I have had to date. I am using them again on my wife's 2024 Tesla and even though I despise Safelite, I am grateful that their terrible service introduced me to Turning Point Glassworks. Installer took a while to install the windows, seemed to have some difficulties. Upon completion I saw the installer put a tear in my door panel and whe. I we t to inspect it closer the plastic panel covering the door mirror fell off. I asked the installer what happened, he said he didn't know, he said he didn't do it, but in the same breath he said he had a hard time with the plastic cover, which on inspection was missing the clips that lock it in place. He was going to just ignore he tore my door panel and broke the cover plate and just have me pay the bill. I was at work and didn't have the time. I wanted the door panel and cover plate fixed before I paid the bill. He got on the phone with the owner who told me, " the work was done you need to pay the bill" I told once the damage is repaired I'd pay the bill in full andI paid a portion of it right there but held off on the balance until it was fixed. Pictures were sent and the owner finally admitted the installer seemed to have damaged the door panel and cover plate whole doing the install and they she would get a technician that repais vinyl to come out and repair the tear in the door panel but she would need to order a new cover plate. I said fine and she said she would get back to me. I got one message stating she was having a delay in getting the tech out to do the repair but she ordered a new cover plate. To finish this up, I had to follow up several more times and got one excuse after another. Tech was having health issues, we're out of town, the part hasn't come in yet. I always had to follow up no communication from them. All said and done, over a month later the tech finally came out and did the repair on the tear, came out good, noce job vinyl repairman. A few days later the owener dropped off the cover plate and didn't even offer to reinstall it just handed it to me. No offer of a discount, no apologies for the inconvenience or delays. They provide terrible service and had no concern for their workmanship or reputation. I would definitely not recommend using this company, i had terrible service and was treated like I was the problem. I surely will never use them again. ​​​

On Monday afternoon I waited for a call and nothing as a tech was suppose to show up and work on my car. I took the day off and was waiting. I called and they did not have any tech scheduled to come over. After giving them more info about myself they said it was a filing error. They tried hard to get a tech to me late in the day but in the evening the rains came in. They rescheduled me for the following morning. I waited and the tech arrived on time. To compensate me they took $10 off my total. I was happy with the service but not happy with the organization of orders they received. I wasted my whole day waiting for them to work on my windshield and had to take another day off to be there. Next time I might try another place to get my windshield replace.
