This has to be one of the best experiences of true customer service. I don't know if I'm jaded being in Manhattan, but I feel like customer service has gone by the waste side. I called the Friday before Valentine's Day for delivery because I was not sure if my parents were heading up to their house in Great Barrington for the weekend. They had no problem taking the order last minute. Well of course, the weather wasn't the great and my parents decided to stay in the city. I called the florist and told them that my parents weren't going up after all and that they could just leave the flowers and I would try to get a family friend to pick them up. They were so sweet and concerned that the flowers would not hold up. I told them to cancel the order and charge me for the flowers as I would not expect them to lose money because of my families change in plans. Well i received a phone call and it seems they felt so bad that they are only charging me for their cost and giving me a credit. So, to be honest, I don't know how the flowers are, but based on the customer experience, I would certainly order from them again. read more

The young woman who owns this flower shop has an amazing eye for arrangement and texture. I can't really think of another place like it in the area. When you enter this treasure of a shop, you would expect that someone is arriving to do a photo shoot at any second! A creative and lovely girl. She has wonderful ideas, and takes a compliment very modestly. Stopped in yesterday and purchased a wreath for myself, and an everygreen spray for a friend. I once went to buy a new succulent for my girlfriend (hers had died), and the guy at the store just gave me a new one for free and gave some tips for keeping the new one alive. Seemingly small gestures like that go a long way to build loyalty with customers. read more

I used Kamilla for my wedding in Lakeville, CT in the summer of 2010. I have to say that she has a wonderful eye for aesthetics. After a 15 minute discussion she took my thoughts and wishes for table settings and bouquets and integrated and implemented them flawlessly. I could not have asked for a better execution. Additionally, Kamilla communicated with the caterer and was able to propose alternate solutions when problems came up. I didn't worry once about the flowers, and on the day of the wedding I almost felt like I wanted to marry Kamilla for such beautiful arrangements. Most recently I took some friends from the City to Kamilla's shop to see how she utilizes texture, color and shape. They were impressed beyond all expectations, and said it was the most beautiful flower shop they had ever been in. The only downside is that the shop is so far from NYC! read more

On a recent trip to Connecticut, my friends told me that I should stop into this most artistic, creative florist's shop. I was in awe of the gorgeous flowers and plants in this small shop. The orchid plants were stunningly arranged, and the flowers and plants were to die for. As a way to thank my friends for their hospitality, we sent them a floral arrangement to them as a gift.. It was the most magnificent arrangement any of us have ever laid eyes on. It was "a floral symphony", as our friend said. Kamilla's floral arrangements are pure art. Fantastic! My wife has worked for 3 different teachers at NYBG school of floristry in her 20 years in the business so she can be pretty critical but she comes away impressed with this place. Great attention to detail, lovely displays my wife's specialty and a very clean shop. A insider tip, always look at the flower case, not just the pretty flowers but the condition. Theres has always been clean, the flowers in good to great condition, etc. If they pay attention to the small details you can usually rest assured there designs will be top notch. I am very disappointed with my experience here. I contacted Chris and asked him for a quote for a small order of boutonnieres and corsages for a small wedding. He told me a few times and many weeks apart that he would contact me back. He finally emailed me and I again asked him for a quote for a small order of boutonnieres and corsages. He got back to me by email after 3 weeks and asked me what exactly I was looking for and let me know their prices. I emailed him back the same day asking his opinion and told him my colors. I didn't hear from him again for 3 weeks so I finally told him I was going elsewhere for my floral needs. He emailed me back AGAIN 3 weeks later telling me he didn't realize I had another question and that I required anything else from him. He did wish me luck finding another florist, so that was nice of him. Buyer beware, if your order is too small, it is beneath these people and you are not good enough for their business. Honestly, take your business elsewhere. It's not worth the stress! read more
