terrible customer service, the campground is mismanaged and doesn't know what's going on as far as how rv's are hooked up. the owners are petty and do not listen. stay far away from this mismanaged place. read more

We have been to this campground for three years straight now and love it. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Appreciate seeing staff circulating and monitoring to ensure everyone is happy. Beautiful grounds and very nice pool. Shower facilities are also nice and clean. Will definitely be back for another season. read more

We had an amazing time here! Ken and Becky were so welcoming and the campground has a lot of fun things to do. They had 3 shuffle boards, a swimming pool, foosball, 2 ping pong tables, basketball courts, tetherball, a pond, and a playground. We were in the rustic area and it was very peaceful and quiet. They had porta potties throughout the campground that were clean and smelled like cinnamon. They also had a nice shower area that was clean and had hot water! It was my first time camping and I felt spoiled there! We went during the annual Pig Roast event and there was so much delicious food! We would definitely go back. read more

I'm not on to normally write a bad review, unfortunately this one needs to b said. We have camped at Kampvilla quite a few times and have always had a great experience and have loved it. Our recent experience was unlike anything we have ever had at any campground. Kampvilla underwent new ownership a little over a month ago. I called about a month in advance to try to make a reservation for Labor Day weekend. I left a message and did not get a call back (with the previous owner we always got a call back). Our seasonal friends let them know we had called and left a message and they told them to have us call again. So I did. The woman on the phone told me they couldn't accommodate full/partial hookups the whole weekend but said they could do two nights rustic and one night full hook-up from Sunday to Monday. Fast forward to check in. When I told them what I was told about the split lots, the woman shook her head at me and said she doesn't know hwy she was told that. I continued to say that that was what I was told and she proceeded to argue with me and said they can't accommodate me to move. She also tried to blame it on the previous owners making the reservation. There was a gentleman sitting behind her who spoke up and tried to help fix the problem. She was arguing with his suggestions as well. Thanks to his efforts he was able to get us on a full hookup site for the whole weekend. He also talked me through the site and hookup. He also asked me a couple different times if I needed help. At this point I had thanked him for his help and had calmed down from the previous interaction. The new owner, Tammy, came over and proceeds to tell me that she took the call and says the lady I spoke to at check in was "not in the wrong" and that she never told me I could move part way through my stay. This just fueled the fire even more. I suggested she should apologize (for miscommunication). She said that's what she was doing but I did not hear one word of apology from anyone. All I can say is the previous owners would have handled this so much better. Even if I did hear wrong they would not have argued with me and would have apologized for the miscommunication. Unfortunately this experience was enough for me to say I don't think I'll stay here again. read more

Been camping here for years. Owners are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel part of the park. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. The owners have returning campers year after year so that should tell you something. The large pond is well stocked for fishing. Large mouth bass, blue gill and a few other varities. Clubhouse offers seating, games, internet and washer and dryer. Swimming pool is connected to clubhouse so you are able to get out of the sun. Great place to vacation or even park your RV for the season. read more
