I recently got a voucher from an advertising agency. On of their representatives came into my work. My coworkers and I had all asked (multiple times) if there was any additional charges. The representative had said no and confirmed there would be no extra cost. I bought the voucher and had called to make an appointment. (which took about two weeks to actually get a hold of somebody) When I talk to a woman on the phone to book my appointment. She said it was "recommended" to get one of the bonuses that are listed on the voucher. I told her I wasn't sure and for now I just wanted the Chemical peel. When I went in today the girl at the front desk told me it's mandatory that I have to pay for an additional service of at least $25. She said multiple people had come in with the same issue. The girl at the front desk called the owner Tania. She told me there was nothing she was going to do that the ad agency had made a mistake. Either I would have to pay the additional cost or call the ad agency to see if they could refund my money. She would not refund my money herself and said it was not her problem to deal with. I asked her where on the voucher it stated I had to pay for something extra. Neither Tania or her her employee could show me where this was stated. I left and will never go back.

I had heard that sometimes Sugaring can be less expensive than waxing, so I figured this might be a good first try. I was very pleased with the aesthetician (not sure if this is the right term) who saw me. She kept me talking throughout most of the process which kept my mind off the pain. She was very sweet and nice, as well as informative, which was great for a newbie like me. I was tight for time so I wasn't able to get a Brazilian, but I did like that she let me know what she could do in my alloted time. I found it very professional of her to be honest that she couldn't fit the service in unlike some places that would rather rush through a service to get the extra money out of you. She even got me out 5 mins earlier than expected. I would definitely go back to them again, and in fact plan on it.

PLEASE NOTE: they do not use the traditional sugar ball. they use the same method as waxing (with the strips), just sugar instead of wax. "full brazillian" at most places are considered bare, front and back. not here. here, "sphynx" is full brazillian. for extra cost too. BUT only the front. no back. i never had a full brazillian ("sphynx") without doing the back before. i apologize for tmi :/ the lady who waxed (sugared?) me was very nice and made things less akward. HOWEVER, to me, it doesnt matter how nice they are if they dont do the service i pay for properly. first of all, it was painful. yes, ripping hair out of your body is painful but this was the most pain ive ever had with hair removal for down there. secondly, there were so many little patches of hair left, i had to retouch when i got home. never again, thanks.
