Also anyone pulling into the parking lot is sure to blind you with their headlights so maybe best to pick a seat away from the windows. We ordered the Adonis entrée, the Chicken Shawarma entrée, Lamb Souvlaki entrée, a Shish Kafta entrée and a few Lentil soups. All of the entrees came with the same Rice, Potatoes and Greek Salad. The Lamb was cooked well, and for $30+ it better be. Chicken Souvlaki was drenched in sauce so of course it tasted good. The Kafta was AWFUL. So dry and bland. Every bite was making my mouth dry. What a bummer. The Lentil soup was ok but I feel like it didn't taste as authentic as other places I have been. It could have used more spices. The potatoes that came with the meals were just ok. They didn't taste good or bad. However the rice that came with the meals was bland and tasteless. No saffron or anything. Literally around the corner from this place is a restaurant called Sidra and it serves waaaaaaay better Shawarma, Lentil Soup, Kafta (tikka), and their meals come with amazingly flavorful rice and garlic potatoes. With such a better place nearby I don't know why you would come here instead.

Adonis is by far my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in town; much better than Monfort and Agabi in my opinion. Usually I come here for one thing, and one thing only; the Adonis Schwarma on a pita. It is quite similar to the Monfort Chicken on a Pita served at Monfort, but with one brilliant addition - BACON. You get seasoned chicken breast, pineapple, garlic sauce, your choice of a wholewheat or white pita, and the option to have it prepared spicy, plus BACON. Delicious! Additionally, the portion size is larger than at Monfort's, and I prefer the taste of the garlic sauce at Adonis. The service at Adonis is super friendly. You can tell that it is family owned and operated as it is the same staff working whenever I visit. You also know it is good service if every time you leave walking away thinking that the waitress is flirting with you. Me and my friends all feel this way, which is a good way to leave a restaurant. If anything, it does take a while to prepare your order, so I usually call ahead and take it to go. Overall, I highly recommend Adonis. It loses one star for the wait times, but it is certainly one of Oakville's best hidden jewels!

They have great interior that you can reserve for larger gatherings, family get together or corporate events. Their menu includes so many great variety of options and all of them seem great, so we had hard time choosing what to order as we had the fear of missing out. Lol We ordered "Sultan Ahmed Grand Breakfast Buffet" with "Semaver Tea Pot", "Lahmacun", "Chicken Doner Benedict", "Beef Doner Omelette" for brunch. We also paired our brunch with "Mango Ayran" and "Pineapple Mojito", and we couldn't resist trying their fresh and delicious "Pistachio Baklava". Every menu item was fresh, delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. We really loved the combination of chicken and beef doners with egg bendict and omelette. Would love to go back and try more of their lunch and dinner options.

It's nice to have low music in the restaurant and be able to speak to the people next to you. Staff were very friendly, and tentative. We received tea when we arrived, it was served in very cute cups with spoons and sugars on the side. Or app was a four dip platter with bread, there was a red smoky one, a babaganosh, tzatziki, and hummus. All very unique, my fav was hummus. We also had the meat platter for two, which I think could have fed three or four ppl. The chicken was lean, breast meat skewers, the beef was quite fatty, both the shawarma meat and the meat patty. The bulgar was well flavoured. We weee so full we didn't have space for dessert. Overall a very pleasant experience.

There were quite a few options to pick from but we decided to try the pulled beef (though I don't typically eat a lot of beef) and it was delicious, but the only con being that I could barely find any mushrooms in the pizza. The chicken wrap was not how I expected it to be, but also quite good. I don't think I'd order it again. One of the other experiences we found is that they forgot about our soup order so instead of having the lentil soup as an appetizer, we ended up having it last. Soup was good but not that amazing/wow. The kunafa was smaller than I expected and a bit too sweet for my liking. I personally didn't like it too much and would've preferred another dessert, such as the San sebastian cheesecake but they were sold out. I like however that the pistachios are right from Turkiye (antep). Restaurant has ample seating. If I'm to come back, it would be to try another one of their pizzas for sure. Staff was also very nice and apologetic for forgetting part of our order.

We ordered "Meat Lovers Assorted Pizza Boat", "Assorted Pizza Boat" and "Spinach & Feta Pocket Boat". Pizza dough was made fresh in front of us and the ingredients were fresh and perfectly marinated. My favorite ones were chicken with Dived Potatoes and Pulled Beef. For dessert, we ordered "Burnt Cheesecake" and "Kunefe". Both were delicious and fresh.
