Our 3 children (2 girls and a boy) have been with Sutter Pediatrics since 2009. Our first pediatrician, Dr. Koch was excellent but had to retire. We were then assigned to Dr. Corp - that year was the worst for our children. Luckily, we were referred to Dr. Gill. From the first time we met the good doctor, my wife and I felt a sense of calm. More importantly, he immediately made our children feel at ease. During appointments, our wait times have been substantially shorter compared to other doctors and we've never felt rushed when he checks on our kids. He's very thorough and is a genuinely caring person. To top it off, our son E is about to attend Kindergarten and his school requested that a Health Assessment be filled out. It usually takes 5-7 days, per Sutter Admin; it took Dr. Gill a couple of hours :) Oh and his assistants Tigi and Kelly are the best too! If Dr. Gill has an open spot in his practice, don't hesitate to go for it. Your children will be in good hands. read more

We are extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Gill to be our son's pediatrician. He is excellent... has a great rapport with kids, very patient and we NEVER feel rushed when we see him. I have recommended him to family and friends and I recommend him to you too:) There is never a long wait time at his office and he makes a point to ask if you have questions and carefully explains the answers. We like that he uses visual aids when explaining things to us and has even used his iphone app to show us the human brain to explain the answer to our questions. I can say I am very sad that our last pediatrician retired, he was awesome. We found Dr. Gill through our insurance and tried him out but we are very disappointed in him. He saw my daughter for three visits and at the third visit he said he would no longer see my one year old daughter anymore. She was just discharged from the hospital two weeks ago with something very serious and she needed her doctor the most at this time and he kicked us to the curb like it was nothing. If you want a doctor who is there for your family this is not a doctor who cares. I can not believe any doctor could do such a curl thing to a one year old. If your wondering why he would not see us anymore it is because we have done our research on vaccinations and no longer give them to her. So if your a high believer in vaccinations then this may be a good doctor for you. Don't get me wrong I'm not agents vaccinations but I do not give them to my daughter. They have toxins in them that I do not like.....aluminum, mercury, animals blood and many many many more toxins that i do not want in my daughter. They also don't bond well with her, vaccinations do not go well with all kids my friend when he was younger almost died from them another friends son of mine got a vaccination and got autism three days latter( they say thats a myth but it's not i have seen it with my own eyes) Another person I know kids got the measles and mumps shot and five days latter got them. Vaccinations do not work on everyone and they also do not last forever. Vaccinations are a 50/50 shot either you get the shot and hope you don't get the diseases because the vaccination may help or you don't get the shot and hope you don't get it. The vaccination is not 100%.... When a outbreak happens, how many of those kids her vaccinated/ not vaccinated. Vaccinations weaken the immune system not strengthen. I want her to be able to build her immune system nice and strong not weaken it. Like I said I'm not going to look down on you because you like to vaccinate your kid. A mother is a mother and they can chose what they think is right for there child. Vaccinations in my eyes are not healthy and many people do not do there research they just do what is "normal" Doctors are paid to give these to your kids and they will say and do anything, or doctors them selfs do not know how horrible these vaccinations are because they are sat down by the CDC and are told how good these vaccinations are. Really I could go on and on but this is not the main resin I'm doing this. I feel like Dr Gill does not really care about these kids. LIke I said my daughter needed her doctor the most right now and instead he is turing his head. The lest he could do is stick with us until we know that everything is ok with her but no he would rather walk away from a sick child because I won't do ALL of her vaccinations. It makes me sick that a human being who is supposed to be here for kids can do such a thing. Dr Gill is a very heartless human. Ss if you do not believe in ALL of the vaccinations then don't waist your time even if you do like to get vaccinations why would you go to him. If he does not like something you believe then he will dump your child like he or she was nothing. Good luck other mama and thank you for reading. Dr Gil is a great pediatrician. He's sharp and alleviates worry. As a parent, especially to a new child, you're always worried that something small could be a major problem, and he does a very good job at reducing your concerns. He's been my sons pcp for 4 years and now our daughters, and I wouldn't want them with anyone else. These other negative reviews seem to be more concerned with doctors that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, while i'd rather have a doctor who does his job well and takes care of my children. read more

We were assigned to see Dr.Gill because our pediatrician wasn't available. He did the bare minimum to check my son and his symptoms. I was not pleased with his bed side manor and snide attitude towards my concerns. He charged us double the amount our pediatrician does and wouldn't work with me when I questioned his billing tactics. I'm extremely displeased and sad that he is in our Sutter group. read more

We would not recommend Dr. Gill at Sutter Medical in Roseville Ca. We went in for a yearly children's wellness check for our 4 kids. It only took 30 minutes. Our insurance was charged for wellness check and we were charged for 4 sick children office visits in the amount of $755! Our children were not ill. Sutter now charges you for pre-existing conditions even if you don't talk about them but the Dr. brings it up. He asked about my daughters pre-existing condition. We told Dr Gill we were seeing a specialist for it and we were only here for wellness check. When we got the bill from Sutter we were charged for her pre-existing condition like it was just diagnosed. When we called we were informed if Dr. asks you questions during wellness check you will be coded and charged even if you say everything is fine and are there for wellness check. Because Dr. brings it up you will be charged. The billing Dept will inform you that by law they can do this and will not waive fees. For one of our other children we had mentioned we had an appt to see a specialist...for same conditon as our 1st girl. He charged us for us making that comment for over $200. We only mentioned it so it would be in his file...not to be coded and charged $205. They will add code after code to your children's wellness check and if you have one of those high deductible insurance plans you will be shocked at the bill. Ours was outrageous. There is no paperwork warning you what you can and cannot discuss at wellness check nor guidelines to let you know what is included in wellness check. We are not talking about having a sick child with an ear infection We are saying if you have a well child and off hand make the remark your child sneezed they will add code for sick child visit and charge you perhaps $200 to $300 extra per code. It's a scam and parent beware. Sutter now has found a way to get around the Wellness check and can make a lot of money. Don't be surprised if the Dr. is paid extra for every code he cleverly adds to your wellness visit. read more

I was so excited to take my daughter to him based on the reviews I read. What an utter disappointment that was! Dr. Gill is very uptight and unwelcoming, which are horrible traits to have as a physician. He never once made eye contact with me. It was so bizarre. I had never experienced something like that in all my years of visiting the doctor. When he walked in the room I stood up and said hello and he said hello back, but in a surprised tone. I didn't think anything of it and tried keeping the energy positive. It was our first visit, so he started asking me questions regarding my 17 month old and I answered. Then he asked me if she was up to date on all her vaccines and I replied no. (Side note: My 5 and 3 year old always had HORRIBLE reactions to vaccines so I space everything out for my children. My last pediatrician was on board and understood completely.) When I said to him that she was not up to date he tightened his lips and was like, "Ohhhh, ummmmm." I asked him if that was a problem and he replied, "Yes." I didn't expect that. I asked him why and he told me that a lot of his family in India died from polio so it was a very personal topic for him. I was so confused. What does your family in India have to do with what's going on right here, right now, in this office, in California? I apologized to him for his losses and expressed to him that my intention was never to offend of hurt him. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be in. By the way, If he was so hurt by what was going on in India why doesn't he just open a practice there and help the people? Don't get me wrong, I'm deeply saddened by all horrible acts and sicknesses that people endure around the world, but I was here for a check up. This is not what I signed up for. After I told him why she wasn't up to date he replied, " Ohhh, ok, I might be able to work with that." Ummm..NO! WE won't be able to work with YOU! I will NEVER take any of my children to him again! Took my daughter to see him due to the fact that she is 6 and urinating in bed still. She tries so hard to make it through the night but just doesn't wake up. His suggestion...to make her wear underwear and clean up the mess if she urinates. Then he proceeded to tell me not to punish her for her wetting. How is making a 6 year old, who CANNOT wake up to go to the bathroom, clean up her own bed NOT punishment??? I asked to see a specialist to see if she had a small bladder but he said I had to try this regimen for 6 to 9 months. My daughter is completely ashamed to go to a friend's house because she has to wear pullups; she is clearly not CHOOSING to urinate in bed. As stated above he is uptight and lacks presence with children which I noticed from the moment he walked in. We were assigned to Dr Kranibir by my insurance, he was very rude, uptight and the only thing that interested him was vaccinations. When he asked if my son was up to date with his vaccines I said no and everything went down hill from there. He said that's a problem and he can't see us anymore. Best DR out there. He has seen all 4 of my kids and has done nothing but the best for ALL of them. My son had a very complicated case and very rare case. He stepped right up to the plate and dug in and did what he should do. Even after my son seeing many specialists and having surgery he is still right there by my sons side. My daughter had horrible anxiety and lost 20 lbs in 2 months due to her issue. Little did we know what it was until everything was ruled out. Dr Gill didn't hesitate one bit on helping her or doing what needed to be done. I don't ever doubt his decisions. He just this year got promoted to chief of peds for that office so that goes to show you his knowledge and devotion to kids. As some of these reviews say "he's very pro vaccines" and didn't want to see us anymore because bla bla... I can't imagine him ever kissing off a patient BUT if he is your Dr and you are challenging his advice and going against him or arguing with him I could see why you would get dropped. Its fine to state your opinion aznd concerns. I have many times and he has always acknowledged my concerns and addressed them very professionally. Love this man and so do my kids! read more
