I really wanted to give this place a 5-star review based on the following things:
1. Breath-taking view. Atop the Beskid mountains in Poland, the lookout is amazing from/around this restaurant.
2. Authentic live folk music, fiddle and all.
3. Excellent food. Excellent prices (the currency exchange rate is great for those of us from other countries).
4. Enormous portions.
However, our server took forrrrreverrrrrr to finally get to us and take our order. We waited about an hour for that, and no, the place wasn't insanely busy, so I can't say this was a perfect experience. I ordered a pork chop with cheese and pineapple (which also comes with cranberries on top), a side of fries, and a cole slaw (shredded carrots and cabbage). Everything was on point. My wife ordered a popular Polish soup, zurek, which comes in a bread bowl. Absolutely delicious. We also tried the kluski and zrazy. Also good.
Aside from the crazy wait, this restaurant was pretty stellar. I'd still recommend it to anyone vacationing (or living) in this neck of the country. read more
