The backyard had unpleasant doggie "surprises" that needed to be removed . First, they are simply delightful people to work with, very nice/friendly, accommodating, flexible, helpful in answering questions, resolving issues, following up on concerns, extremely responsive (both by email and phone), etc. Second, they have a great deal of knowledge and experience regarding the Laguna Beach real estate market, and all the little details of what makes certain areas more or less attractive. Third, they were always honest and straightforward with us at every step of the process, pointing out issues at prospective houses and steering us away from one property (due to an issue identified on inspection) that we had made an offer on even though it would have been in their financial interests for us to complete the purchase. Fourth, they truly understood what we were looking for, and did not waste our time suggesting we look at properties that they knew wouldn't meet our (picky) requirements.
