Ms. Lee, in conjunction with the staff, developed a treatment plan that is working really well for me. I am able to continue scuba diving and all other activities. The educator, dietician, and other staff are most helpful.

She said she had only 3-4 patients Type 1 who did not have a pump. I asked what kind of glucose levels they had and she just said "high". Second visit she had a student who just reinforced everything she said to me, even if I challenged it. Next appt. (after 3 months) after 5 reminders of appt. they called tro change my appt. to earlier in the day of to have a shorter appt. as NP was leaving early to get married and would be gone 3 weeks for honeymoon. I asked if I could see Dr. Lippes as she was gone and practice gave me an appt. in 7 weeks stating he was not taking new patients. I took the appt. as was a way to see the doctor I originally had selected to see but was bluntly told "never can".

So the dentist wanted me to see an ENT doc before deciding if the offending tooth needs extraction. Dr. Sobie gently scoped the sinus area, and when that was inconclusive, ordered a CT scan. He was considerate and concerned and thorough. I recommend this otolaryngologist to anyone who requires this type of medical attention.

During a traumatic phone…read morecall whilst he was the on-call doctor for a severe reaction my wife had to a medication prescribed by Buffalo IVF, he repeatedly called her "honey" and told her to "just calm down." He dismissed concerns throughout the call, treated us as if she were simply being hysterical, ultimately hanging up leaving my wife in tears. Rather than taking responsibility for the situation or offering support, Sullivan left us with the impression that he considered her unfit to be a mother, by requiring psychiatric sign-off for routine testing. He made our reproductive choice a matter of medical bureaucracy passing us around between other providers, effectively abandoning us. We initially considered continuing with other providers at Buffalo IVF, as other staff seemed competent and compassionate, and we requested to not work with him. On reflection, however, it is deeply troubling that a women's health clinic would tolerate such sexist behaviour from its staff, let alone owner. Reproductive care demands empathy, respect, and professionalism. Sadly, our experience at Buffalo IVF showed the opposite. We strongly urge others to seek care where patients' dignity is valued. Don't waste your time here.

I called to schedule and get an idea of the process, the receptionist seemed to have no clue as to what the process might look like or an idea of cost. Nothing, she said I needed to come in for a consultation at $250 just for the doctor to tell me the possible steps and prices. I understand that she is not medical (I worked many years a medical secretary) but how do you have absolutely no clue of anything. I called the other facility that my OBGYN gave and wow, night and day. They couldn't give me an exact plan or cost but they were able to give me an idea of what the cost and process was going to look like. I see a lot of the low scores for this facility are mainly because of the office I say call CNY Fertility.

You'll be greeted with the attitude of the entire team doing you a favor, showing horrible phone etiquette, and scolding condescension. If you need additional blood work or scans done in a short time as order by the doctor, you'll need to remember your paperwork and give up half a day trying to find an appointment time that meets his stringent and unreasonable schedule. When you have to reschedule you'll be told that rescheduling isn't allowed and you'll just have to make it work. So if crappy medical service, crappy attitude, and out of date medical office procedures are your thing stop by and tell them I sent you. Otherwise, find a new Endocrinologist who actually cares about more than his pending retirement.

Just like last time, everything was ran efficiently and I was in and out in a timely manner. They did a wonderful job of numbing me up with lidocaine ... when I felt even a bit of anything and would make a wincing face, the attending nurse would notice my reaction and the doctor would give me more. I am such a wimp when it comes to physical pain at all, but it has been almost 7 hours since my procedure began, about 6 1/2 hours since the last shot of lidocaine, and I don't feel much at all. I followed their instructions and they gave me an ice pack to immediately put in my bra on the side of my outpatient procedure and I'm home. They will send to pathology to confirm I am ok and they scheduled me for a follow-up next week. I really love it here. I hope I don't have to come back here, of course, due to the main focus of this office ... but if I did, I would feel I was absolutely in the best hands, and these are warm and compassionate ladies working here, and I truly recommend this place if you find yourself in need of care for your "girls" ... you will be treated with dignity and respect and wonderful bedside manner!
