Again the old adage is true: I would give 0stars if I could.
I would take notice that there are 3 reviews and only one from a purported client.
I have experienced a lot of therapists in my life, starting at age 11. Some were amazing, some were total charlatans. Kyle falls into the later. My partner of 10 years and I decided it was commit or split time and sought out Kyles therapeutic advice. When your own therapist admits that she doesn't know why you're there because she's not helping, it's time to move on. After no-show appointments, (we showed, she didn't), cancellations at the last minute, charges for sessions that clearly were never booked, I must warn other people. This is not how a professional behaves. A professional therapist garners trust so you can be your most vulnerable self. How can I trust you when you leave me waiting in the waiting room for 30 min because you forgot our appointment? Or charging my credit card twice for sessions that were clearly, and in advance communicated to you, not going to happen? She said it herself. Why were we still seeing her? Don't fall into this trap. It might put you off therapy for good. Therapy is a wonderful tool when dolled out by somebody who isn't concerned about when she can charge your credit card next. I would really hate if somebody who had never been to therapy went to see Kyle and thought this was how therapists behave. One would never go back. What she is doing is dangerous. I have never heard of a therapist who can cancel on you within 4 hours, but demands a 7! day cancellation notice on your part. Apparently her time is valuable. Yours is worthless. Please. Do not think that Kyle McMahon is how a professional therapist behaves. When you begin a relationship with a therapist they are there for you. They are dependable. And they never give up on the notion that, with the right guidance, one can overcome any issue. read more
