We were referred to Seesaw (and some other professionals). After speaking to a few, I felt that the fit was much better with Seesaw and Dr. Sabrina, who was very down-to-earth and easy to speak with. The philosophy behind Seesaw also resonated with me more, as it is really focused on kids of all ages with a varying range of services to accomplish whatever objective you have as a parent. We had an intake meeting, a regular virtual session, and then an in-person session where I brought our son to meet Dr. Sabrina. Dr. Sabrina walked us through some helpful strategies on how to respond when our son was acting up. Before and after each of our sessions, she would send over additional reading resources as a supplement. The first book she recommended "The Incredible Years" has actually been very helpful in helping to reframe our mindset as parents.
