I have had several massages by Tesha at Dr Karges' office. Not only is she professional, she listens to me and my body and gives it the care I needed. I am sure she can give a spa like massage but I needed some deep tissue massage and assisted stretching to relieve foot, leg and back pain. I normally don't post a review, but this time I had to. I've never been to a chiropractor, and this review will go back to October of this year where I went to Dr. Karges just a day before my wedding. I was fully stressed out and my right ankle was in so much pain and pressure that it was very hard me to walk like a normal person. I made an appointment with Dr. Karges, and he patiently and kindly talked to me and made me calm. With his magic hand he gave me a special massage released all the stress around my ankle and leg. With his magic talk, he assured me that everything will be just perfect on my wedding day. This review is long overdue (Aug 23, 2018)... But I wanted to be sure to recommend Dr. Scott Karges because he was compassionate, kind and a darn good chiropractor!! (My back hasn't gone out since I saw him almost 5 months ago!) Decided to drive to So Cal from Oregon for a quick vacation with a friend. After about an 18 hour drive and a terrible motel mattress on the way down, my back wasn't giving me any love for the long road trip. When we arrived at our condo I was in so much pain that I could barely stand upright. After ice, ibuprofen and praying my heart out, I decided I needed a Chiropractor. I hopped on to YELP to see who Yelpers recommended for Chiropractic care near Escondido. Wow! There were so many to choose from it was daunting but I prayed for God's assistance. I called a few offices and they couldn't fit me in. Then I tried Dr. Scott Karges and he answered the phone himself (not even sure that his office was open for business that particular day as he was doing some office remodeling). After I explained my situation and the pain I was experiencing he said he could fit me in and would be happy to see me that morning! Dr. Scott listened thoroughly to my history and was very thoughtful in his approach. He took the time to explain how I could keep my back healthy after I left his office by being intentional and examining my daily habits of movement (sitting, exercise, etc...) to see where I might be putting undue stress on my joints, back, etc... He treated me with a TENs unit and adjusted my back. I sit at a desk all day so he encouraged me to get up every hour and just move for a few minutes. To this day, my back has not gone out since seeing Dr. Scott Karges that fateful day in August. I'm so grateful for his kindness, expertise and wisdom. I just wish he was closer! read more

I definitely recommend Dr. Karges! I went to another chiropractor that was down the street from me. That chiropractor only adjusted one side of my neck and half of my back and said that it would take 24 more visits for me to be fully better. I could tell that he was scamming me. I was unable to walk in a store for more than twenty minutes without my back stiffening up and screaming. I would be leaning over the cart! I'd have to take a hot shower and lay in bed the rest of the day. Obviously, I knew something was out of whack. One appointment with Dr. Scott and I have been so much better.
