However; during my project I learned the company retains in-house licensed professionals to do plumbing, and electric work as well when working on complete interior renovations. Having a renovation I need done, I went on site to a current townhouse project they are working on to see the scale and quality and was very pleased. Having an in-house plumber and electrician is a significant asset to anyone that has a big project because working with RRS will eliminate sub contractors that only add delays and expense. They know how to self certify for permits, and are very conscientious to maintain the common areas clean.

The crew was on time (and patient-- they hadn't gotten the message that I was running late) and extremely friendly and polite. And remarkably efficient. They were done in under fifteen minutes, including clean up. That's all great but $250 seemed kind of expensive so I called Sean to ask if there was a way to re-negotiate the fee downward a bit since it took so little time. He went one better... or $250 better and said he wouldn't charge us at all for the work. Customer service doesn't get any more amazing than that. They've done smaller scale plumbing, electrical, moved and converted a door (including the framing, advice on conversion to a pocket door, drywall, finish), extended a roof and did the gutter, fixed an improperly installed sink, installed a murphy bed, hung a large screen and blackboard, ... At this point it's hard to remember what all they've done. We like that they will be thoughtful of our needs and come up with ideas we did not think of ourselves. Examples: While fixing and reinforcing a roof access they advised us on adding a lock to the hatch to make sure that nobody can get in from the outside. While removing a wall and moving the related electrical they rerouted one of the outlets into the cellar which is missing enough outlets.
