Do not get pierced here. My friend and I both got our nose pierced here and they both ended up infected and with large bumps. We both had to seek help from another shop because the jewelry that was used was such low quality it was disintegrating in our skin. They lied about the metal that the jewelry was made of. The placement of my peircing is so bad that other shops have told me they don't even recommend wearing a hoop because it will have to be so big. I really wanted to like them. I got my industrial at Karma quite a few years ago before they changed locations and it went perfectly fine. I went back a few months ago with my niece, who was getting her nose pierced. I was also getting the bar in my industrial changed out. I paid around $30 for the change out including the price of the bar. But that jewelry cannot be good quality because I immediately had an allergic reaction to it within the first few hours of having it in. At first I thought it was because just jostling it around made it sensative but it was persistently red, swollen and itchy for two weeks before I took it out and changed it back to my old bar myself. It immediately went back to normal. A waste of time and money. I feel bad giving a low review cause the person helping us was very nice but I cannot fully recommend them with the quality of jewelery they're using. read more

Ugh if I could post the peircing the new girl did for me, I would. Peirced my bridge so crooked, I went to get the money and came back bawling because of it. She didn't try to comfort me, she was just trying to get me out of there as fast as she could and she continued to try to gas light me into thinking its perfect and it was crooked at any angle you looked at it. Ive had my bridge peirced for a year and 12 peircings so I know what im talking about. I said I wasn't paying for it and to take it out. The SAME new girl did my snake bites months ago and gave me the wrong leighnth so it was short enough it kept pulling the gem INSIDE of my lip, so painful cause it was poofy at the time obviously. I know the new girl is new, but she's not new enough to make any more excuses. She's been doing this shit for months. She also peirced my friends nose and bellybutton and ended up poking through and into more skin. She cut the inside of her nose and above her belly button. Never going back. I would have Mary do it because I trust her, but my experiences are bad enough that I no longer want to support this business like I have for 2 years. She also peirced my cartilage crooked and used a butterfly back and then it got hella infected, I was using solutions like I was supposed to. And that ear peircing definitely was NOT real grade shit. Rusted up and turned into looking real old and like dirty jewelry. Nope. Got my nipples peirced, she peirced them wrong or did something and they bled for a whole year before I couldn't stand it anymore. I make sure to keep up with cleaning my jewelry, too. New girl, if you're reading this, I hope karma catches up cause you were rude every time I went as well. Which I had her 4 times and I have no idea why I let her peirce after the first time while all of my appointments with her ended with me crying. All 4 times I cried because she messed it up. If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience I've ever had. For starters the women who was piercing my ears was so unkind and just rude. I needed to get one of my piercings reopened. I specifically told her what I ear I wanted reopened, and I said it was originally a crooked piercing. When filling out the sheet it says the piercer will give you a purple dot to see if that's where you want the piercing, she in fact did not do that. She continues to give a double on the wrong ear, when I just needed my firsts reopened. When I told her that's not what I wanted she acts stupid and goes "oh". She proceeds to take out the piercing and doesn't give me anything to stop the blood. The blood goes on to my brand-new WHITE Nike sweatshirt. Not even a single sorry. I didn't even end up with what I originally came there for. Definitely never coming back to this place. Just absolutely terrible!!! read more

I recently got a third piercing in my ear lobes at Karma, and my experience was great. Everything was super pro, clean, and I have had no problems with my piercing afterwards. Mary was awesome; she explained everything clearly, answered my questions, was a total pro with the actual piercing (super fast but also careful) and gave me all the info needed to keep things clean during healing. I also picked up their all natural cleaning solution, which has been working great. I was glad to see that even though Covid protocols are no longer required in WI, precautions (piercer masked, limited people in the studio, etc) were still in place at Karma. Terrible... do not go here if you do not heal super easily. I have had 2 piercings from Karma, the first being a cartilage that I had to take out after having it for 5 months and when another worker took it out she told me that I was pierced with a bar that was way too small. As someone who doesn't get piercings, I had no idea. I decided to give karma a shot again and got my triple lobes. They were pierced completely crooked and also did not heal and had to take them out after 6 months. Cheap jewelry, lack of professionalism as well. This shop is a perfect example of what cheap jewelry is and what it does when used in the human body. Terrible piercings, and the low quality jewelry rejects or gets your skin so irritated it starts an infection. I have not once had a good piercing done here, or had one that has been able to stay in. I thought it was "just me" and kept trying different piercings on my face and body. I finally gave up on Karma and found another shop in town and yes the cost is higher but I have save tremendously by having beautiful quality jewelry with perfect piercings that ACTUALLY HEAL!!!. I've been wanting to get my nose pierced for a while and a friend finally pushed me to do it this last Saturday night. We arrived at Karma about 7pm and it was pretty busy. Nonetheless, Inna greeted us as soon as she finished with another customer in back and had us start on paperwork. As she continued with other customers who were there before us, she always came back to us, having me read instructions for care of the piercing as well as having me pick out my jewelry. When it was finally our turn, she explained the process and asked if I had questions. She was efficient but attentive. My piercing was perfect, reasonably priced, and I felt that everything was clean. I felt comfortable there and she made sure to let me know I could stop in with questions and/or to get help if I decide to change my jewelry once the piercing heals. My sister and I got nose piercings at Karma for the first time and we had Mary. In my experience I felt as though i was rushed and didn't have any full explanation of the two types of nose studs. I only had a choice of either a gold or silver stud. I wasn't sure if I could pick out any other color but that was what she asked me to choose from. Also when I asked for numbing cream (which is extra $), she applied it for a second before piercing it. Didn't even take time to let it numb up first. I went on Yelp and looked up local piercings in Eau Claire and found Karma. The women working were super helpful and FAST! I came to Karma because of the low prices and overall good reviews. I was impressed by the quick service too - there were a couple of people in front of me, so I waited less than 15 min but it wasn't a big deal considering I had a small form to fill out and a informative pamphlet to look over! The actual piercing and payment took less than 10 min and I could tell the owner really cared about my experience both in and after leaving the store. There is antibacterial solution available for $6 and you receive free salt to mix into a wash. Overall Inna was friendly, efficient, skilled, and knowledgeable from what I could see. Very unsatisfied. Have tried to make NUMEROUS appointments with this piercer and either no one has returned my calls or just not answered. And on top of that, their answering machine is full and doesn't even allow me to leave my name and number? I have also scheduled SEVERAL appointments but then show up because I have a literal scheduled appointment (that they were aware of) and have not a single person answer a text or call saying that I can come in for my appointment. Because that's what they require on the door. HORRIBLE communication. I have had to go home and come back before because of long it took them to get back at me. They didn't even announce on the window of their old location when they moved locations leaving me standing on a busy road like an idiot waiting to see someone. The communication and unprofessionalism, carelessness is appalling. The fact that I made several appointments and not even a response to try to save and get my business? SO IRRITATING!!!
