They had a buy 3, get 1 free promotion so we decided to buy 8 wax melts and had such a hard time narrowing it down to just 8! As I've gotten older, I've become more conscious of what soaps, lotions, perfumes, I put on my body. I make more of an effort to use natural products with less harsh chemicals or hormone disruptors. The minute I walked in the owner was so nice. He let me sample various products and made great suggestions. I walked out with a heavy bag filled with lotions, a candle, and some nice soaps. Their lotion is so nice. I love how it doesn't leave you feeling greasy and easily absorbs into the skin. They have some light natural scents without it being overwhelming. I purchased one of their body washes, but with the store owner's suggestion, I gave their tallow multi-purpose soap a try. I'm glad I tried it. I used it as body wash, and it felt very gentle and moisturizing. Their candle also has my house smelling so fresh. They also offer shampoos, laundry detergent, personalized perfume oils, and many more items. I am excited to return soon to restock my supply!

DANGER WARNING I attended a candle making experience in…read moreFebruary for Valentine's with my two daughters and niece. The place was clean & had a large variety of options. Cecilia the owner was pleasant , she supervised our group during the process of picking out the items and while we created the candle. At the end of our visit we paid and were on our way. I used the candle for the first time a couple of months ago and a second time on June 7th. Both times the candle was used in the manner it was intended to be used. I didn't alter the candle, I didn't allow it to burn for longer than an hour, and it was not left near anything that could catch fire. The candle was lit sitting on my bedroom dresser I stepped away to use the bathroom attached to my bedroom and heard an explosion when I ran out my dresser was on fire. I quickly poured water over the fire. The jar I purchased from the establishment combusted that was the loud sound I heard. Thankfully I walked away when I did because where I had been sitting I found pieces of the shard glass! Once the excitement had passed I contacted Cecilia and explained what happened. She stated it wasn't her problem and I explained this was a matter of product liability as she sold me the item and the materials used to create the candle. I explained that she could contact her insurance company because I would like my dresser repaired or replaced. She stated again it wasn't her problem and that I signed a waiver. The waiver doesn't remove her from liability of the item combusting while being used properly. When the candle was lit the second time it was 3/4 full of wax. She became argumentative I told her I didn't want to argue and she could take 24 hours and get back to me. She got back to me a little after the 24 hours with a copy of the waiver I signed , I replied thank you and if that was her final decision she didn't respond. Her behavior has been unprofessional, rude and fails to take accountability for the product she sold me and helped me create. No business owner should feel it isn't their responsibility after such damage was caused. Thankfully I wasn't injured. I really didn't want to make this post as all of the reviews I post are always positive because I know people need to make a living ... if she doesn't make things right I will pursue legal actions through the courts for restitution for my damages.

From perusing their website I see that they also offer custom home design services and that you can book the Tea Room for private events. I really appreciated seeing that along with the classics, Eyre features local children's book authors (including Zoey's Adventures to the Ice Cream Shop, a personal fave!). They also had some caps and sweaters with ORL or WP embroidery. Finally, the giant woven light fixture shades are reminding me of Bali in all the best ways!
