My vehicle stayed in their shop for 4 days, and after the inspection they told me that my driver-side lower control arm was broken and that the thermostat needed replacement. They charged me $3,600, but never provided any proof, photos, or explanation showing that the arm was actually broken. They also refused to give me the parts invoice, never showed the cost of the parts they used, and provided no breakdown at all. They charged me $2,200 just for labor, yet this job normally takes around 3 hours, not multiple days. When I asked for labor rate, time, or details, they didn't provide anything. The whole process felt unprofessional, unclear, and extremely overpriced. The worst part is that after I picked up my car, it had even bigger problems than before. The vehicle started having new issues immediately, and now I have to take it to another certified Mercedes mechanic to fix whatever was done to it. I honestly have no idea what they did to my car, but the quality of work seems extremely poor. I am very disappointed and strongly warn anyone with a high-end vehicle: do not trust this shop with your car. They provided no transparency, no proof, no proper documentation, overcharged for labor, and returned my car in worse condition than it arrived.

That's fine. They wanted to charge me something like $170 to see what the problem was BEFORE conducting that actual inspection. She told me something like "We do everything by the book here." "By the book" was another way of saying "You're a naive commoner and we will find every imaginable problem with your car, even if it's extremely minor, and not help you minimize the cost of this inspection." (I owned a popular car rental business for 20 years. I know mechanics all too well.) Not cool! I brought it to the Kal Tire in St. Albert instead where they were very helpful, minimized my costs and helped me without charging extras.
