I'm glad a used them, as they handled the whole process in a thorough and professional manner. All my enquiries were answered quickly, and they provided the guidance I neededed throughout the process. There were a little more expensive, but when you're buying a house, spending an extra couple of hundred pounds on a quality solicitor rather than the one getting a commision from the real estate agent is probably worth it.

They provide a range of services from divorces and family disputes to dept collecting, wills and criminal defence. Their traditional office in Maidstone town centre is welcoming and very easy to find. The laywer I had was very good, he was very approachable, listened well to everything involved in my rather complicated divorce and made the whole process very smooth. Whenever I had any questions they were always answered clearly and were quick to come back to me. Their prices are also affordable. Overall my experience with this company was great. I felt they were efficient, friendly and if I ever need to do anything requiring legal services I would definitely use Morlings again.

Look elsewhere: I normally like to balance any review I write online, however I am going to…read morestruggle here. + Cheaper than some of the local competition, I would have rather paid an appropriate fee for a proper and thorough job. + Friendly customer facing team. - Exceptionally slow to respond, I was often ignored. - Inconsistent in their feedback to the customer. Many emails or parts of emails were simply ignored (simple requests for ETA's for example). - 2.5yrs later (I previously rated 2 stars but had to backtrack on this) AFTER the flat sale went through, it transpired that the land registry element of the service was not carried out; a CORE function of the solicitors responsibility. They did apologise, however then took a further FOUR MONTHS to put the situation right. I had somehow been a home owner without having my name on the official deeds. Overall I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for your conveyancing needs.
