Therefore, I often did not know the outcome. Thank you Dr Chen for all your care and compassion. One day I was in so much pain post surgery, that Dr Chen willingly changed my appt to video. He stated he doesn't usually do zoom calls but made an exception. The front office staff were like robots without any understanding or compassion. Just another workday for them. Though, I must give them credit for fast appt. check in. I would just rate the Dr as excellent and office staff are just average. The ehr that they use is not user friendly.

We were scheduled to have a procedure completed and a payment was collected. On February 17, we had a change of heart and cancelled said procedure. I was clearly told that the refund would be processed, yet it is now June and I still have not received the money or a clear explanation for the delay. Over the past several months, communication has been inconsistent and unprofessional. I have had to repeatedly follow up for updates, only to receive vague responses or no resolution at all. A medical clinic should operate with integrity, transparency, and accountability, especially when handling patients' finances. While the staff may have initially appeared helpful, failing to honor a promised refund for this long is unacceptable. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this clinic to carefully review financial policies and documentation before making payments. As far as communication, I am very disappointed with the level of communication and professionalism from this clinic. Since February, I have called on seven different occasions and left multiple voicemails requesting a call back from the manager regarding my unresolved refund issue. I then was told he was gone. But get this, their website AND phone message states they have Urgent Walk-in Clinic. So, another reason I waited, to go on Monday. But NOPE, THEY CLOSED THIS TOO. BUT STILL ON THEIR WEBSITE. Maybe while you're cancelling doctors, you also get your web team to make the correct changes on your website so people don't delay treatment thinking they are going to see their doctor, or be able to go to Urgent Care. And if this is how they manage their office, imagine how they handle their surguries or injections!! My guess is if their CEO, Steven Hammarstrom, cannot run the practice correctly, you don't want who they hired to touch your body. Stay away. I met with Dr. Jacobs on December 12 to go over the changes so we could get the ball rolling and not have a delay in my immune treatment which I require every 3 weeks to stay healthy due to a serious immune disorder. He assured me that it would be handled well. Then almost month later I call back and find out nothing has been done. The office didn't have a new script from the Dr. The contract worker they had hired to deal with insurance benefits at the office still didn't know I had a new pharmacy benefits provider. She was trying to order the old medication from the old benefits provider. So I spent the next two weeks on the phone for entire days - leaving messages, waiting on hold, coordinating between nursing staff (bc the dr was now on vacation), the independent contractor who didn't understand my insurance change, my pharmacy benefits provider and the pharmacy filing the order. Babysitting grown adults who are getting paid to apparently not do their jobs. The office at first admitted to dropping the ball, then they each slowly started to blame other people in the office and I realized what a toxic dysfunctional mess the whole operation was. Perhaps they once were good - the vast majority of these five star reviews are many years old. Today, I think they can handle routine allergy shots. That's their bread and butter. Anything more is a deep stretch for their abilities. In the end I finally got my medication two weeks late and it would have been even later if I hadn't borrowed a medical pump to use from a complete stranger. This was an incredibly stressful process that would have been avoided if people at this office understood how to do their jobs.
