I have traveled quite a bit and love Sushi. I've had it in hundreds of cities around the world and this place has by far some of the best I've had. It is a small/intimate place with bench style seating around tables. This makes it great for a romantic night cause you can get close to your loved one. There were other people there, but it's a pretty cozy place so everyone talks rather softly. And the ambiance and decorations make for a great date night. The prices are very reasonable, considering you're getting high quality sushi. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful. They spoke English which is a must for tourists like me. And I was very impressed with how quickly our food was prepared. I love trying different restaurants during my travels otherwise I would eat here for lunch and dinner every day of my stay. Friendly wait staff and great location, but sushi is mediocre - you won't get sick, but it's nothing special. Small selection - doesn't have much traditional maki , no real creative rolls, and the nigiri selection is minimal. Rolls are very small (4 pieces). Also only accepts cash. read more

This place has average sushi for outrageously high price tags. I would highly recommend staying away and will never be back myself. I choose three of the house recommendations: Tuna Tataki (9.20€) - 4 pieces, Sakura Roll (7.90€) - 4 pieces, and Salat mit Lachs (6.60€). I felt completely ripped off by all three. The salad was mostly just plain lettuce with a layer of salmon, honey mustard, and some seaweed. The tuna and roll were fine tasting but weren't very flavorful and in no way were justified by the price. You'll pay over 20€ and not feel satisfied or full. Go to Hokkai Sushi! Tiny little cosy place. I liked it very much. Four tables inside tells you that a reservation is essential. We had a great evening. Service was quick and always around. Interiour is typical. However could be miced up with Thai culture. Sushi was fresh and excellent. I was surprised by the sizes of each piece. Very small compared to other sushi places. This place is a quiet and small sushi spot in a quaint neighborhood. However! The price category should be €€€ not two of those. Because paying about 7€ for a sushi roll that only is half the size of ordinary sushi rolls does not reflect the prize category of €€. Their selection of sushi rolls is very slim. The restaurant only accepts cash! Which is a big no no in my opinion. For goodness sake, it's 2018! I pay with my cellphone at places. They are obviously hiding profits; hence, paying less taxes.
