Booking and payment were super easy online, and communication was excellent the whole way through. We told him we got married 25 years ago on a beach somewhere on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe (the exact spot is still a mystery!), and when he suggested Zephyr Cove Resort Beach, we knew he was our guy. I'll admit I was more nervous than my husband, but Daniel immediately made us feel comfortable. He's easy to talk to, fun, and knows exactly how to guide you through natural poses without anything feeling fake. We were laughing (actual laughing tears!) the entire time. We had the best time. We just got our proofs back, and I am beyond thrilled. His work is beautiful!! We started at 5pm and he got all the best of the area! Unreal!! I have had the pleasure of having two sittings with him, one for family portraits, and the other for business portraits. Both times, his studio was clean, well organized, and purposeful in every area. He looks at how you are trying to portray yourself and develops strategies to photograph you for those situations. The sittings have an informal feel, but definitely productive. He is constantly looking for new ways to capture you, and new ways to position you so that you get the look you're hoping for. Throughout, he shows you the photos he's taken to get some idea of what works and what you like so that he can continue to expand on those areas. Afterwards, he sends the proofs for you to review, and once you give your feedback, within a day or two Michael gets back to you with the high resolution copies of the photos that have been retouched and finalized. Alex and Wendy have got two completely different personalities she is from England so it is just hilarious to interact with her because of the different cultures. I had an appointment which I had made in person earlier today and since they work with children all the time they should understand that there is a small window for a happy child willing to pose for pictures. But they told me to leave and NEVER COME BACK. I am horrified and stunned at this incredibly poor customer service. Again, I am the customer and was well within my right to ask what to expect since they clearly took extra customers before me even though they knew I had a 2pm appointment on the books. But they didn't care. They feel it is ok to treat a pregnant woman and her 21 month old with such disrespect. Never patronize this business.
