The facility was beautiful, too-notch industrial kitchen, cute decor, a full battle, plenty of prep space, many areas to wash your hands, and every item of utensil you would need to prepare a quality meal. The chefs were great at helping us right along and keeping us on track. The food turned out deliciously. I also love that they will send you the recipes you prepared afterwards. Highly recommend! Great date idea too!

My aunt and I booked a class for the 2 of us. Upon arrival we were welcomed to sit and have snacks as well as a drink. The cooking class came with 2 drinks. They had fantastic non-alcoholic options. Mocktails that weren't an afterthought. It was fantastic! Our instructor took the time to explain how everything would work and then we were told to find our pre-assigned stations. At our stations, a lot of the prep work and measuring of ingredients was already done for us. This taught me a lot about prep work and successful cooking. I am not a very good cook and between my aunt and myself, we stayed at pace with the instructor. Absolutely friendly for beginners or those without cooking talent. When we finished cooking, we sat down back at our seats to enjoy the food we had prepared. I couldn't believe that I cooked what I was eating! We were sent home with their in house cookies and the recipes to what we cooked. Not only were the food choices delicious and awesome but the experience was so much fun! I highly recommend.

I found a Groupon for a cheese making class in Findlay Market, so how could I pass that up? My…read morefiance and I took the class last night and had a lot of fun. You have to reserve your class by calling on the phone, which is tedious/annoying...I wish they had an online reservation system. But we showed up at 6pm, and the class was completely full (about 18 people per class). The class was in a little shop right off of Findlay Market. It's BYOB, so of course we brought a six pack (we don't mess around), but if you bring wine they will give you a bottle opener and cups. The teacher started off by giving us a mini lecture on how to make cheese. We made a "quick curdle" cheese, which is an easier cheese to make at home. I know a little bit about cheese, so when I signed up I didn't think for a minute that we would be making Gouda in this class or something...But I could see how someone would be disappointed we're not making their favorite cheeses here, just a homemade version of them. (FYI something like a Swiss cheese can take months or years to make). The lecture was very informative, and drinking the beer during the talk didn't hurt either. He showed us how to heat the milk to almost boiling, then curdle it with lemon juice, and then strain it to make a soft cheese. Parts of the class were hands on, but not all of it. In the end we were each given our own soft cheese that we then had fun seasoning and turning into a tasty cheese dip. That was my favorite part. And then we ate it, of course! I wish I would have brought some veggies or meats for the cheese. They only gave out a few crackers, but I was still fine. The cheese tastes ok, but not great...probably cause I still need more practice with my cheese making haha Overall, a fun class, and a good way to spend an hour and a half. The cheese itself didn't taste that great, but it was still fun to learn. I would probably come back to take the other classes that this company offers, which include cooking classes for sushi, Thai food, and Indian food.

My girlfriend and I purchased the Groupon for the cheese making class and were pretty disappointed…read more After playing phone tag and leaving voicemail for several weeks we finally got something scheduled. I never actually talked to a real person on the phone, just back and forth voicemails. To me this is no way to run a business, but I guess you get what you pay for. As for the class itself, it is as basic as basic can get. I could have googled the instructions to do what we did and bought the ingredients for a fraction of the cost of this class. The teacher had a decent knowledge of quick curdle cheeses that are definitely easy, but completely neglected to discuss or acknowledge that the majority of all cheeses have some sort of bacterial culture used and how that impacts the process/flavor of cheese. The class was poorly taught with only the instructor and a few people doing the actual work and everyone else watching. All in all it is something somewhat fun to do if you're bored but nowhere near worth the price or effort needed to schedule the appointment. Only a fraction of an overview of cheesemaking is discussed and leaves much to be desired.
