Her work online showed she definitely knows her way around a camera so we decided to meet. She was professional, her prices were reasonable and she was very personable. She got the job on the spot and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. On the day of, Berenice was amazing. The shots and ideas she came up with were just perfect. She was great with both families (one of which mainly speaks Spanish) and kept everyone organized so we got all the shots we were looking for. We couldn't be happier with the final product. We received all our photos on a personalized flash drive along with a few enlargement prints of the best photos. Both he and the second photographer (which turned out to be his dad) were both no shows for our engagement photo session that was previously scheduled-after waiting for 30 minutes for him at our predetermined location in the dead of summer outside, we had to call and wake him up for him to come meet us for our photos. He showed up for our wedding day as scheduled but all of our pictures were below par. Most of the pictures that we had sized and framed were taken from my sister- who is a nurse. He promised us extra photos for not showing up on time from our engagement session that were never given to us and after the wedding lots of our guests including my mother-in-law ordered pictures through the website and the wrong and fewer number of photos were sent to her that what she purchased. A year or so after the wedding people started coming up to me wondering where they had seen me... it was on the back of a city bus that drives through Columbia, MO. He had put up a whole add on a bus featuring me and my husband on our wedding day without asking us for our permission or simply even notifying us. I would NEVER recommend Carl and Creative Photo. Don't regret your wedding pictures OR waste your money!!

After initially booking them for wedding videography I was forced to cancel due to a constricted budget. MY cancelation request came about a month after I initially booked and was WELL OVER 6 MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING. Clearly enough time to seek other work. After initially reaching out, I received no response from them for weeks. It took several emails and almost a month before I was able to make contact with anyone. If I hadn't already wanted to cancel this would have been enough to make me do so. At the time of booking I had specifically inquired if I needed to fill out any paperwork, and I was told that no, I did not, and as the wedding got closer we would meet and fill out all the necessary paperwork. This paperwork I asked about is presumably where their "non-refundable deposit policy" that I was told about when I was finally able to reach them. I informed them that I had signed nothing to agree to that policy and I asked they simply return my deposit. I was told that EVEN IF THEY REBOOKED MY DAY I WOULD ONLY RECEIVE HALF MY DEPOSIT! I like to work for a living, not take money I haven't earned, but apparently they don't feel the same way. Finally, they agreed that if they rebooked the day they would return my deposit. All of this happened in February and March of 2016. In July I began inquiring if they had rebooked, and again waited WEEKS to get any response, although I have received no response to my most recent inquiry sent almost a month ago. I will be telling everyone I know, every wedding vendor I work with, and any poor soul who mistakenly asks, to never even consider working with this company. Period.

We had a very okay experience with Small farm photography. We had 3 sessions scheduled, a new born,…read more6, and 12 month. Newborn session was okay, but very heavily edited photos. We asked for unedited photos twice and was told we would get them and never did. 6 month session was quick, rushed and we didn't even save or print a single photo from that session. We just didn't like them. 12 month session was scheduled, and I had paid 2/3 of the bill. I didn't want to pay all of it until closer to the 12 month, anyway we had been in contact 3 times with Kailey about our 12 month session, one was two weeks before the session. The day before session I reached out to be sure it was still on, and was told she never bought a cake because I hadn't paid the last bit of money I owed. I then said we literally just talked, why wouldn't you mention that or text me so I could have paid? She scrambled to get it ready, but we ended up canceling it altogether. I feel bad saying this but we just cannot recommend. Better experiences are all over in the area.
