I had a nice photo that was taken of them many years ago, and Debi truly brought it to life. I couldn't believe how realistic the portraits were when she was done. It captured them so well, and was more life-like than the original photo. It's so nicely detailed, with a sparkle in their eyes - I absolutely love it. Every time I see this illustration hanging in their den it makes me happy I went to Debi's studio that day, because it inspired a unique gift that surprised my whole family for Christmas and immortalized the people I care about the most.

She uses mainly Acrylic Paint and a knife to paint and has a gift for perspective, color, and balance. I was especially impressed by her subtle use of blue in a small painting of birches, which really pops out at you almost like 3D. I have had an oil painting for over forty years. It was part of my late father's collection of…read moremid-level art. I am pretty sure that it is an uncataloged piece from local artist. My daughter recently expressed in interest in hanging it in her home. It really needed cleaning and repair. Though I thought that I would have to take it to San Francisco for restoration, a Yelp search for the Sacramento Valley area returned a hit for Fine Art Artist. I contacted Ghanim and he offered to come see my painting and estimate repairs and cleaning costs. Ghanim is a very pleasant person who gave me the impression that he really knew how to do the job for me. He not only holds a Master of Fine Arts and is an artist of note in his country, but took special training in art restotation in Italy. But, most important to me, he really was excited and interested in restoring my painting. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price. Ghanim drove out to my daughter's home to complete the framing and frame cleaning. I am really delighted in the quality of his craftsmanship. The tears are seamlessly repaired, the flocked paper collage pieces have been masterfully restored and the colors are so much more vibrant and appealing.
