Girl Fit starts off your sessions with manual therapy to loosen tight muscles that may be contributing to your injuries and then you move on to strength exercises. She gives individual attention to her students, demonstrates the poses and gives clear instructions. Her classes are playful, fun and different. I don't agree with a previous reviewer (Des. L) that her classes are only for novices. I have been practicing yoga for about 20 years and I still enjoyed the pace of the classes, their substance and the level of difficulty. Her studio is based in the basement of her home and because of that, there is limited natural light. Also, the space is not that big and although Roni tries very hard to make sure all of the students see her demoing the poses, the view is obstructed by several large columns in the middle of the basement. While I truly enjoyed Roni's classes, they are on the pricey side. The drop in rate is $25 and 8 and 16 class passes must be used within 2 months. 8-class pass is $170 or $21.25 per class and 16-class path is $300 or $18.75. In comparison, "yoga in the village" just down the road charges drop in rate of $15 per class and 10 class pass is only $130 ($13/class).
