My wife and I worked with Liz on the purchase of our new dream house in Orange County. From the start she was going above and beyond what we were expecting. We called rather suddenly when a property showed up on the market and scheduled to go see it with her. We weren't seriously looking before this. By the time we got to the property she and her team already had a good understanding of the history of the listing and were working comps real time to give us a clear understanding of what fair market value would be. We agreed on Jan 6 as a showing date, she pushed it to the 13th.. admitedly, she brought it back to the 6th, but what wasn't clear to me, is why do we need to work on doing this ,and do what felt like begging, when it's her job to make us happy to being bound to an agreement. She stalled again when she was "waiting" for her husband's input on some inspection, which could have only taken another 2-3 days over a weekend.- of course, he had no real input (and I am sure she knew that) - but why not install if she could in a time of real stress. - We had to keep our alarm system there, for insurance purposes. She didn't fight for us, at all, when we wanted it to be part of the deal (to save us the hassle), and once the deal was done and she got her 2.5% , she couldn't care less if we asked her to send it to us across the country. It would have been a minimal gesture, which she didn't do. - Let's be honest, selling a single family home in Garden Grove for its zestimate is not hard. Team Tackney are NOT on the cheap side (we got offers as low as 1.5%), but what we expected is responsiveness and courtesy - all they cared about was money.
