This is only the second farm I've ever gone to but hands down the best farm ever!! Not sure if the…read moreexperience could get any better. There was an area to shop pears in boxes (I wouldn't recommend because for just a little pricier you get way yummier fresh pears to pick but they're still good) and sweet potatos and dried figs and more. Then there's a cute tractor ride that comes quite often, not much dust gets blown up, and short but scenic for the fall foliage to get to your pear picking destination. There, you see endless rows of fresh Korean pears so full and plentiful!! And they even have an abundance of ladders available for you to use to pick the pears. The price is pricey but the pears are beyond amazing and highly recommend. Come taste their amazing pears and support this farm! Huge applause to the abundance of pears, quality of pears, and good management of fallen pears/bugs/bees around (there weren't many!). Overall was lots of people but the farm ran pretty efficiently and big enough space for everything. Super kind workers and visitors

Yrs ago the crop was right next to the parking so you can just wheel your kids in strollers around. Not anymore. Now in order to get to the picking area, you have to get onto tractors. Despite me calling ahead and asking, the reception falsely told me that the farm was stroller and wheelchair accessible. Very disappointed, as we had to separate our family and leave some people behind at the picnic tables since they cannot get onto the tractor. It's overcrowded, there are bus loads of Cantonese tourists that gets dropped off. It can get loud and pushy to get onto the tractor. The wait line to get onto tractor has no shade so you're just standing in the hot sun. It's all dirt roads so it gets very dusty with every car that goes by. You're better off just buying Asian pears at Hmart. If you like the fruit picking experience, go pick apples at small farms. If you insist on experiencing Asian pears picking, bring an umbrella for the sun, masks for the dust, go on a less busy weekday, and leave the kids and elders home.

They have several local farms selling produce represented, Stace of Cakes, Big Matt's Burritos, homemade pastries, a local soapmaker with a "canine rehydration station" and some kind of entertainment going on. I've stopped by early on 2 occasions and liked what I saw. I try to buy my produce "locally" and farmers market like this one are some of the best ways to accomplish this. Yes, most of the produce and the prices are the same at the vegetable purveyors, but the variety is increasing as the growing season progresses. I was a little disappointed that local crafts did not have much of a showing, but may as this farmer's market grows, there'll be more craftspeople with their wares.

All sites, ads and queries I have made identify it as at: 207 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown City, NJ THAT IS NOT RIGHT. A GPS will bring you there - but the market ain't there! The location is actually just off the corner - behind the gas station - just where the (circle/jug) turn from 206/130 South meets Crosswicks (route 528 and some maps/GPS identify as Butts Ave). Then it is behind a building, sort of under the water tower. Making matters worse it may be called and known as Carslake to locals, etc (and I now guess may be the name of the building)- but - the sign at the street says something else. (Maybe the name of the park or open area?) I strongly suggest that the organizers correct this everyplace possible and even put some sign up identifying entrance to market.

I have found MOLD on many of their oranges, their grapefruit are dried out (not juicy at all), and I had a hard time finding a honeycrisp apple that didn't have a bruise or bad blemish. Prices are comparable but would rather go here than shoprite. Fresher produce and better selection. The perishables, deli and other odds and ends still higher in price, but personally I'm there for fruits and veggies. Still has flower stand. Milk, eggs etc. Now bigger refrigeration section, cheeses, whipped cream, sour cream etc. Basically if you dont feel like going to another store or need something quick that you forgot in big store they have it. Dry goods and spices in bulk. Lines move quickly as per normal. I'm so happy it's back, no more traipsing around looking for my odd ball essentials and being disappointed. Poblanos and shiitakes here I come!! Since my local farmers are done for the season, it's nice to have one stop shopping for all my produce needs at affordable prices. Yayy check them out. Definitely worth it. So many ideas for cooking. Produce is beautiful and delicious.i hope they continue to keep up the quality and quantity of today. I believe imo it's a better store then what was there much cleaner and you're not bumping into other people when you're shopping. Cash or credit is acceptable.

You know it's very easy to communicate with the people there they all speak English and you don't have to worry about food poisoning and then not ever seeing them and who poisoned you unlike other flea markets we won't talk about the one in Secaucus lol but I love this place.
