My review for MegaBurn is way overdue. I just don't want to sound like a broken record, because…read moreobviously theres nothing else to say but all the great things everyone else has already said. I'm extremely excited for them to open up their second studio in the East. This location is so easy to find, and parking is a breeze. Classes here are generally 45 minutes, and they're slowly integrating beginner and mobility workshops. They're such a great group of beautiful talented trainers who support you through out the entire class. It's like a group personal training session if you've never had the opportunity to experience a Reformer's Pilates class. The trainers really know their anatomy and teach you how to properly engage your muscles with proper form and technique. They're also so wonderful at taking feedback and really want what's best for you, so if you ever have any ideas on things you want to see in the studio, they're all ears. Every one of my friends who I've brought here have been hooked on the intensity, the tribe vibes, and technicality of the variety of classes they offer. They get to know you individually and your strengths & weaknesses to make sure that you're doing what's most optimal for your body, there's always variations that they provide if you have physical limitations. So it's super important to communicate that to your trainer so you can get the most out of your session. The facility itself is beautiful and always so clean, even with all the foot traffic this studio receives. I love that they have toiletries in the restroom for you to freshen up with after class. & the theragun is so therapeutic after the sweat sesh. If you're looking for some motivation and a great community to be surrounded by, I highly recommend checking this studio out.

I'm not sure how I've never reviewed the space before, but I am super picky with my Pilates…read moreclasses. I live in Vancouver, Washington and I drive all the way to this studio in the Beaverton/ Hillsboro area at least once a week. I love that the instructors have a variety of teaching modalities. And you can find one that works for you. As I work in healthcare and I'm really focused on hormone regulation, I have been enjoying classes that are not hit workouts. I also walk every day, do yoga, and lift weights separate from these classes, but really see Pilates as a place to lengthen and strengthen your muscles and relax. It's definitely not the hardest workout. I do but something about it keeps me coming back. My favorite instructors are Michael and Dahn. I like how they bring a lot of mindfulness and self-awareness to their classes and focus on body mind connection. Which is what I like about Pilates and also that they keep the entire class on the reformer. I'm not a fan of Matt Pilates or doing all the extra things off of the reformer so anyone that focuses on that is preferred for me. I also like that neither of them talks too much. I feel like I've been to some Pilates studios where you can't keep up with what they're saying and focus on your body at the same time. They have the perfect balance of explaining how to do something and where to feel it without being verbose. The only area of improvement to me is the music. I feel like every time I visit the playlist are very similar no matter who is teaching or there's no music and I feel like music can make a workout go by a lot faster if it has a good energy and BPM. But I probably don't like music that is traditionally Pilates style haha. I am ex is the best studio in the Portland Metro area and I hope they open one in Vancouver.

The owner of the business worked with me to see that I was able to get the instruction I needed (Michael is an excellent and patient instructor) to understand the intricacies and mechanics involved with the exercises. I have found Pilates to be VERY beneficial. The other instructors whose classes I've taken are also very attentive to helping and correcting my form when necessary. And Phong, the owner, is easy to work with; especially when you have scheduling problems. He has even made it easy for you to try Pilates out at a reduced rate. There is a scheduling app that is easy to use once you learn how (and don't forget your password). If you have ever wondered if Pilates is for you, this is a great place to find out!

Member since August 1, 2024…read more Pros: Reasonable price for 24/7 access. Decent variety of classes. Two restrooms with showers available. Cons: The studio and individual pods were frequently unclean, with hair and dust visible. The shower was more often dirty than clean. Most importantly, two critical contract terms were never disclosed at sign-up. First, you cannot cancel before completing five months, yet staff told me cancellation was possible at any time. Second, after one year and nine months of membership, when I submitted a cancellation request with a doctor's recommendation, I was informed that two additional months of payment are required regardless of whether you continue attending. Regarding the workout system itself: the videos offer three difficulty levels and often include form explanations, which is a plus. However, in roughly half the cases the instructor's verbal cues contradict what they are actually doing on screen. For example, instructions about parallel hips, spinal alignment, or proper squat depth are frequently ignored by the demonstrators themselves. Someone following visually without a background in yoga or fitness training would easily pick up incorrect form without realizing it. Poor alignment can ultimately cause more harm than the exercise does good.

First, I was charged over $250 for what was supposed to be a "trial month," which felt extremely misleading. I canceled immediately after realizing how disappointing the experience was. The facility itself felt unsanitary and very poorly maintained. On top of that, the owner came across as extremely judgmental and unprofessional, which made the whole experience even worse. Also, calling this place a "gym" feels misleading. It's basically small sauna boxes where you try to exercise in extreme heat. Instead of feeling like a good workout, it felt uncomfortable and difficult to even breathe while trying to move. It's not motivating at all. The heat is so intense that it even fries your hair if you're not careful. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a real gym or a positive fitness environment.

The resident instructors have an extremely deep knowledge and the classes are often small (approx 5) providing a lot of personal attention, unlike large gym club classes. Leslie has transformed me, no more back and knee pain and my flexibility has improved significantly. I wish I had started many years ago. For any guys reading this who think Pilates would be too easy for them, come along and give it a try. It is way tougher than you think and begun as a training technique for boxing (enough said). This is a great location in a pretty convenient spot and I love the layout - there is so much space in here so that you do not have to move things around like in other studios during class which is just an added treat. They have a great variety of classes based on skill level and also preference. Personally, I love all of the different classes for different reasons - after two years of taking Pilates I still drop in on level one classes sometimes. You get out of it what you put into it and it is an amazing workout. The instructors are so encouraging and supportive. During class many movements focus on the mind body connection and the instructors do such a great job of explaining the movements and helping you do them correctly. I do warn you though - Pilates is highly addictive!
