I have boarded my dogs there for several years and not had any problems with the owners or kennel…read moreservices. They only increased the boarding cost once over the years. I have not been asked to pay in advance and the cash only helps keep the cost reasonable. I have enjoyed talking with the owners. Claude Strickland

Her helper, spouse, partner, sibling, or what ever his status, is truly hurting this business. He needs to be fired, as of three (3) years ago. His attitude stinks! My impression and experience with this old Fart is as follows. He appears to be racist, rude, a smart butt, and condescending. Actually, he used some really offensive language, this morning, that still upsets me. We asked for baths and a normal cut. Meaning, cut the hair down low and not the normal schnauzer cut. My babies hairs were butchered!! The ears, feet, etc. were not trimmed evenly. They actually cut off the schnauzer bibbs. But what was most hurtful was, they cut a bump on the top of my dog's head and my schnauzer bleed all the way home...all over the truck seats and console! I'm thankful that my husband picked up the babies, instead of me. I don't know how ignorantly I would have reacted or If I might have landed in jail! So, if you want No Customer Service, No Respect, No Professional Grooming, Possible Injury to your Fur Baby, Without an Apology and Must Pay for this type of service, This Is Your Place. I hate this for the Sweet Lady/Owner because she is truly caring and will educate you on things. She simply needs a younger and caring person to assist her. I believe she would have more business than she could handle. God bless her and her business. (Oh, and the Old Fart, too! )

Only when I took her back for being non responsive did the doctor tell me the truth. And the staff was laughing about it behind closed doors. Just pretty low thing to do.

Allied Animal Healthcare is the reason my dog died. I brought him inside and waited 10 minutes, but then I noticed he was panting strangely. I picked him up and rushed him (safely) through school-release traffic, arriving at the vet in 8 minutes since they are very close to me. When I arrived, I rushed inside and told them my dog was having serious issues. There were four people inside: the regular veterinarian who prescribes my dog's medication and three front desk staff. There were also no other pets in the clinic at the time. Without hesitation, one of the front desk ladies handed me a card and told me I needed to take him to the emergency vet. I went to my car but then thought about it and went back inside to ask if anyone could look at my dog because he looked like he was dying (my exact words), and the emergency vet was 30 minutes away. Without hesitation, she said they couldn't do anything and sent me on my way as the rest of the staff walked to the back. Frantically, I drove 20 minutes to the emergency vet, using my hazard lights and periodically patting my dog, looking into his eyes, and telling him he would be okay. Sadly, when I arrived at the ER, they pronounced him dead due to a blood clot caused by the heat. They also agreed that Allied should have at least checked my dog to see if there was anything they could do. It's a heartbreaking day, and I would never recommend this place. Their medication is overpriced, and they do the bare minimum.
