Two flavors of what appears to be what they were heavy on at 10:00 AM on a Tuesday. $43.00 for a total of twelve kolaches in two flavors. I don't know what the ration should be - maybe three or four flavors but TWO?!? Come on. And should they respond, I preemptively call shenanigans on "you didn't specify" or any other nonsense. I will never go back to Katy Donuts! Consumers do not mind spending a lot of money if the food is good; however, I spent $17.95 for 2 drinks and 4 kolaches! The kolaches were small (but they call them large) and stale. The meat inside was overcooked and the cheese was practically non-existent! We was truly disappointed. We had to throw one of the kolaches away because not edible, the meat was too hard! read more

My new favorite! The donuts are some of the best I have ever eaten! The price is fair and the owner is so nice. The coffee and coffee drinks are also delicious! This place is worth the drive. After I tried their donuts, I have become a regular. I stopped in one morning on my way to work because I had some extra time. I've been to many of the donut shops in Katy, and I must say that this is one of the best. For one, it is extremely clean. Secondly, their customer service is excellent! That in itself will keep me going back. Aside from that, the donuts are great! They are fresh, and they have much more variety than most of the other donut shops in Katy. Their apple fritters are absolutely perfect. Even their glazed donuts are much better than average. One of the other things l like is that they not only have great variety, but mix it up. One thing these types of places know about you...you're not going to question any prices when they start punching away on their register. Who knows what they're charging? Nobody knows and nobody questions. When my total was $15.00 for three tiny paper bags, I don't just open my wallet, smile, say "okay," and hand over cash. Not gonna happen. Long story short, when you say you want a Kolache, you will automatically be given the big guy Kolache, not the normal size. Of course they want to maximize their sales and give everyone the big honker. So pay attention. Question the charges.
